The food was great.I was surprised at how reasonable their wines were.I know vegans shouldn't go to a steak house, but there is always one at every birthday party and there should be a few items that can be converted.
The food was fantastic, and the owner was one of the kindest most genuine people we met. We stumbled upon this gem while walking around with no reservations anywhere trying to find dinner, and the owner was kind enough to help us find another wonderful restaurant even though he couldn't fit us in the first night. The second night, we got smart and made reservations there. Appetizers and entree were fantastic and atmosphere was superb to match! Cocktails packed quite the punch as well, so we got our moneys worth!
Steak is what we came forOutstanding meal , put it on your list#porkmafia
Great atmosphere, skirt steak with brussels sprouts perfect combination.Lights in the bar are just lovely.I will come back ! ☺️
This was perhaps the worst meal we've had in New Orleans. Everyone ordered steak and each one was overcooked. The garlic fries were ok, but we were looking forward to Argentinian steak. The waitress took dirty utensils off the plate and put them on the table. I don't recommend.
Lorenzo was an excellent host and our server Jamie was terrific. The food was excellent starting with the Susanna Boudreaux wine the appetizers were excellent and our steaks were cooked perfectly we really love the atmosphere and the service for us was great

Food was good but i order the tasting menu for 62$ with appetizer salad meat and dessert. They forget the appetizer, the salad. At the place I got french Fries and my piece of meat. To be nice they offered the dessert that we had to share at two and yes I still payed the 62$ ! Not very far for a good restaurant like he should be
I kind of wish we'd had a bad experience just so I could get a hilarious response from the owner but the steaks, empanadas, and fries were delicious (and cooked exactly to our individual requests), and our server was courteous and pleasant. So, I guess don't go here if masks scare you, maybe? For the rest of you, enjoy the experience.
Good appetizers, mediocre steak. I recently visited La Boca only a few days ago and was initially excited for a good night detailed by good service and great food. Instead, me and my date left disappointed. We were sat without an issue and a server came to our table to give us water. His name was Alex but he never mentioned it. I only found out what it was when I was given the check later in the night. Our appetizers were good. The chorizo and noqui were very good. We had no problem with any of that, but our problem came when our steaks were served. I had ordered the Vacio 12oz steak cooked Medium. My date ordered the Entrana Fina con la Piel. My steak was served to me rare. Now this is an easy problem to fix, but my server never checked on us and I was unable to say anything since I couldn't find him. He served us water in the beginning, but, after our food was served (which he didn't bring; another member of the serving staff brought us our food), we never saw him again until we asked for the check. I looked around and only found the restaurant to be half-filled. There seemed to be no rush, so I can't find any excuse for him. Apart from the fact that my steak was under-cooked, it was not of the quality that I expected. I've eaten wagyu beef before and it is delectable. I can easily cut it with a fork and some cuts will melt in your mouth with how delicate it is. My steak, the Vacio (which is a flank cut of wagyu beef), was very rubbery and I had a hard time cutting it with my steak knife. I'm not sure why this is the case as every cut of Wagyu I've ever eaten could cut easily. Again, this is a problem that could have been solved had Alex checked on us, but he was absent and I could not find him. My date was also unimpressed with her steak as it was, in her opinion, too charred. All in all, I've eaten better steak at restaurants who don't even specialize in steaks. For a place that calls itself an upscale steakhouse, I've had better service and steak at places like Texas Roadhouse. There are better places in New Orleans that can offer better food for the price and have better service.
