Honestly I’m disappointed, my fav ice cream of all time is no longer available which was the apple pie flavor with pie pieces in there ? how dare you guys do this to me?! It was the only reason I came to Kilwins. I guess I won’t be back, and I was just telling my friend that I want to take her to Kilwins because she LOVES apple pie as well…The apple pie flavor was very unique vs the other generic (strawberry, pecan praline, etc) flavors there. This is why my rating is 1/5. I would of easily gave this place a 5/5 IF the apple pie ice cream was still available..Candy is good too….

Omgoodness this place was such a great fine while strolling through NOLA. The staff was super friendly and kind. The helped me pick out my apple and even offered to cut it. They gave out free samples also.

Cute ice cream and sweet treats stop. Clean. Many employees ready to help. Ice cream is cold, iced latte icy. Clean inside.

Eating Kilwins while walking around the French Quarter really is heaven on earth. I had two scoops of praline and pecan flavor.

While walking past Kilwins 2 nights ago after closing hours, I commented that we were passing Kilwins and that we have one in our neighborhood of Ridgewood, New Jersey. A gentleman walking beside us stated he is the general manager of Kilwins and proceeded to hand us a dozen chocolate covered strawberries! He was so nice! He mentioned how ever is made fresh daily.

It would seem as if it’s my life mission to seek out Kilwins in every major city I visit! This establishment was just as fantastic as all the other ones I’ve been to. Clean facilities, friendly service, and delicious treats…best way to describe Kilwins! My love for this sweet shop started in Charleston, SC and continued today in New Orleans!

Someone call 911. This family chocolate confectionery was EVERYTHING!!!! Omgoodness!Literally everything you could possible want. The aroma screams ice cream! In complete bliss, I was super full after lunch, but I couldn’t leave New Orleans without grabbing a few unique pieces of chocolate. Dark chocolate ?. I grabbed me a pecan turtle rod ( pretzel stick) And check this they had a graham cracker covered in chocolate ? sayyyyyy whatttt… amazingly good. I’m mad I only purchased one. Who needs Girl Scout cookies, when you can grab a Shortbread cookie! Yes, shortbread. Pick either milk or dark chocolate. I chose dark chocolate, of course. With ? and caramel I believe surrounding it. This is hands down THE BEST CHOCOLATE FACTORY. Now, I just need a golden ticket. Matter fact, I won big with this discovery. Seriously, amazing ASFudge.Thankfully, they do ship. Just be prepared to order in bulk, shipping fee is $20.I believe, there is one in Plano, Texas. So that is great news. Located in the Shops of Legacy. Makes great sense to be located there. Now I’m just hoping they have everything I saw in New Orleans. There’s a rice crispy treat waiting for me.For the win! Kilwin!!!!

Staff was friendly and patient with us as we weren't really sure what we wanted (well I wasn't, my wife knew exactly what she wanted). Ice cream was delicious! Will definitely keep this place in mind if we ever come back to visit New Orleans!

Great place for a cone or treat to beat the heat. Great selection of ice cream and other treats. But it can get a bit busy given its location.

We found Kilwins by accident and I’m glad we did. We went in on Sunday to purchase fudge. I wish we knew her name but the lady who helped us was so nice! We grabbed our fudge and just as we were leaving she noticed we had pralines from another store. She called us back and asked if we tried her pralines. We hadn’t and she gave us samples- they were awesome! So we grabbed a few for later that evening. A few days later on Tuesday, we went back to Kilwins to buy even more fudge. The same lady helped us again and recognized us. She said “more fudge?!” Haha . But I asked her for a recommendation for our last piece of fudge. She thought for a second then gave us a sample of the sea-salt caramel! We were sold. We came home Wednesday and gave the fudge out to family. We didn’t know there is a Kilwins locally so we’ll have to check that out. But, our fudge loving family was pleasantly surprised at how good Kilwins fudge is. And some even said it might be better than the fudge at the Jersey shore (which is hard to beat). Anyway, we are planning to visit New Orleans again this fall and will definitely stop at Kilwins for fudge and pralines while we are there.
