noted, apparently these are not traditional new Orleans po-boys....however...these are the best po-boys we ate! delicious and leave you craving for more. stop reading this post...plumb into google "killer po-boy" and start walking towards a heavenly dish!

Brilliant po boys. We ordered the Seared Gulf Shrimp and the Chorizo. The Shrimp is the perfect take on the classic and quite frankly I preferred this one. Juicy, crunchy, seasoned very well and more-ish. It's just a shame I didn't have time to eat through the whole menu! Highly recommend a visit!

We stopped by for a quick bite and were very happy with the seared shrimp poboy. The sauce was tangy, and the shredded carrots gave the sandwich a nice crunch. We also had the whisky grilled cheese which was excellent. It was gooey with a nice burn to the bread. Some cheeses lose their flavor when melted, but they chose a great one that stayed rich and robust. However, we could only get a hint of the whiskey and wish that flavor came through more. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, and the inside is air-conditioned with a sports tv channel playing. Each table also has paper towels and Louisiana sauce. This place is unpretentious and inviting, very much what you want from a place specializing in poboys.

My wife and I wanted to try yet another location for a shrimp poboy and elected to try Killers Poboy based on reviews. We arrived a little before noon and were pleasantly surprised there was no real line and we could get a table outside in front of the restaurant. We ordered the food at the counter and went to sit down with a number on the table. It was not long at all until the food arrived (the proper timing). Upon the first bite until the last it was clear the food was fresh and tasty. I will note that we missed the fact that it appeared to be more of an Asian influence with carrots and maybe ginger? We enjoyed our lunch very much but wanted to add that point as it was different than others. Please note that I'm sure that the fusion (or whatever) had been noted but we found this place while driving in the car upon entering New Orleans. This was not an issue and does not distract from the quality, taste, and service we experienced.

Delicious fresh quick bite on the way to the St Charles street car. Hectic outside but relaxed and chill inside - nice feel.

Not your typical Po Boy place! Plenty of seating inside which is a great break from all the noise on the streets! They have quite a few vegetarian options which is great for the variety.Items ordered as of 3/2022:- Seared Shrimp - $14 - Fantastic flavor. Jumbo pieces of shrimp that's packed all the way to the ends! Flavor profile with the crisp pickled veggies was a fantastic combination!- Pork Belly - $ 13 - 100% would recommend this for all pork belly lovers. Pork belly was melt in your mouth tender and the ginger/garlic glaze they use adds a great Asian flavor profile! We actually went back and ordered this again!- Unsweetened tea - $2 - Nice contrast with the pork belly! We would 100% visit this place again next time we're in town!

The menu here has so many good options, we regretted that we could only try two. Finally settled on trying the pork belly po'boy and the seared shrimp po'boy. Both were excellent with a slight edge going to the seared shrimp. The cookie was fine, but ultimately nothing special especially in a city like NOLA where you can't throw a stone without hitting at least two great bakeries. The inside is small, but comfortable. There's no table service, you just order at the counter and they give you a number so they can bring your food to the table. There was a line out the door to get in and order, and they did a great job keeping up with demand. It's clearly a place that knows how to keep up with the business of people wanting their great food.

I have to admit that the sandwiches in New Orleans didn't impress me very much, considering that they are supposed to be a specialty.Anyway, I still had to try some.If you like punk rock attitude and , this is the place to go.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Great vegan options for our family. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I went there for lunch. Ordered the cauliflower. It was roasted, crispy, and delicious. I highly recommend this place if you want to eat locally.
