Best grilled shrimp Po Boy. We had one every day we were in town ? Amazing hidden gem find. Definitely a favorite and must try on our list.
Average-poor. Not a patch on Adam’s street near Audeben Park. Shrimp was nice but mostly carrot… needed 50% more shrimp minimum…
My pork belly po'boy was fantastic and ready in less than 5mins. So good, all my buddies had a bite and everyone was in agreement.
Note: in order to get a souvenir cup, you must order one of the specialty drinks such as the Frozen Irish Coffee.Friendly fast service. As a tourist in the USA, all the pro-police swag made me uncomfortable.
The frozen Irish Coffee is 100% worth the hype. This place is a total vibe. Brooke (the bartender) was amazing. Absolutely recommend.
This Killer Po Boys is inside a dive bar named Erin Rose. They do have the same menu like the other Killer Po Boys spot. I always order the Vegan Po boy and grilled cheese. It's very good.
The pork belly po'boy was unreal! Smokey, sweet, sticky glaze with a tangy slaw and really fresh, slightly crisp bread that really soaked up the sauce.Seared shrimp po'boy was good but not as amazing -- shrimp was a bit salty/heavy with the aoli but the bread was still amazing.
EXCELLENT contemporary po-boys. Came for lunch two days in a row so we could try all 4! Seared shrimp was the best; light & fresh flavors. Then the Beef; juicy and flavorful almost like a sheperds pie. Then the sweet potato; just a great flavor combo. The pork belly was least best to us because it was really fatty, heavy, and the sweet glaze just totally took over. Worth a visit to the Killer Po-Boys actual store, too! Even more delicious options that we'll have to try on our next visit.
YUM. Seared shrimp poboy and sweet potato poboy were both incredible, but the sweet potato was the show-stopper. The mix of flavors with the sweet potato, braised collard greens, and black-eyed pea and pecan spread knocked it out of the park. The interior of the place is very small and groddy - you’re eating at the back of a bar, not a restaurant. There’s only one table and some narrow counterspace for maybe 2-3 parties at a time.
Small menu of absolute bangers. It's in Erin Rose (obviously) so grab a bar stool if you're lucky and get a poboy from this spot in the back. Staff is super laid back and it fits perfectly into the Erin Rose set up. 11/10 will recommend to everyone asking about New Orleans.
