Tonight I was disgusted by the actions of the bartender J’mal. 4 of my friends and I are visiting from out of town and decided to try out this place because of the reviews and recommendations. When we arrived we sat at a booth. We waited for about 5 minutes until J’mal shouted from the bar “what’s going on tonight ladies?” I responded with “nothing much! How do we go about getting menus?” He said “I have them right here” and proceeded to throw the menus at the bar. Then responded with “y’all have to come get these. This isn’t a fancy restaurant ladies. You will need to order at the bar.” One of my friends got up and grabbed the menus from the bar and returned to the table. He then walked over and said “I just want to let y’all know we don’t have any chicken…” and mentioned something else. One of my friends did not hear what the last unavailable item was and asked to repeat it. He repeated it with an attitude saying “we have none & that’s what none mean.” She let him know she knows what none means and that she just wanted clarification on the items he mentioned. She also mentioned that he was coming off a bit aggressive. He responded with “that’s fine. I’m letting you know how it is.” Confused, we asked him if he was okay and he was said that he was. I immediately got up and was ready to leave because I have no time to give an order to someone who clearly did not want to serve nor take it. He then walked away from the table saying “Okay then, goodnight.” Basically letting the rest of my friends know he was not going to serve us. We then stated we were going to write a review because of his actions, he then proceeded to come outside upset behind us. We began to record him. I would suggest to please spend your money at other surrounding bars.
Interesting place! looking for a late night meal and drinks, I recommend. The bar is legit a bar setting nothing fancy but good laughs and drinks. When arriving at night take a seat and grab a menu. It's a very laid back bar and grill. The space was small. The food was hot and fantastic. It was a bit of a delay but that's due to the semi large group we had and also it wasn't a full kitchen that night. Overall if you want something late this is your place.

John is an INCREDIBLE bartender. This is the first review I have ever left, and that’s because he was just astounding. He ran the entire bar, the inside dining area, and the front AND back dining areas ALONE. He regularly checked on every table, inside, front, and back, while also listening to anyone trying to pick a beer or drink and giving them suggestions on what they might like when the patron described what kind of beer they were looking for. If he’s working the job of bartender, server, and host while doing all three positions in exceptional fashion, he better be getting paid the wages for each position. If not? Well If you’re looking for an incredible addition to your restaurant, stop by Junction, ask for John, and get him on your team ASAP.
Stopped in for a late night bite, I had a burger and fries. It was delicious and did not disappoint!! Nice little neighborhood bar and grill.
Food was terrific. Burgers and fries were the best we’ve had in the USA. 40 beers on tap. Not big, not loud, just perfect. Jamie is the best service person we have experienced in a long long time. She’s fantastic - took care of us, let us sample some different brews and have us great tips on the city. Thanks Jamie.
Junction is my favorite bar. Their craft beer selection is excellent and tasty, but I find myself coming back again and again because their food is some of the most delicious I have ever had. I get their Tijuana Wings every single time I go, and the flavor is unbelievable. No matter which food item I order from their menu, their rotating beer selection means I can find something to perfectly complement my meal.
I ducked in out of the rain & discovered a friendly, helpful & kind bartender. Helped me secure my bike, assured I was comfortable and fed me well! A nice spot for locals and visitors alike. Reasonable & fun atmosphere.
Great neighborhood bar with friendly bartender. However, don’t bother with the food menu and just stick with the beer. My friend and I had the fish and chips and hamburger/fries. It was awful…really awful.
They butcher their own beef and it is the best burger in town. Super list of local and craft beers. One of my favorite places to grab a superior burger with handcut fries and a nice cold IPA.
