Get there early because they close at 3. Parking around this area is difficult to come by and paid parking is very expensive. Still this is a good option for Po boys and muffaleta sandwiches but there are many good options everywhere so I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.
New Orleans famous Johnny’s Po-Boys lives up to its reputation. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The wait between ordering the food and taking your first bite is very short. Just remember it only takes Cash. No credit card. They have an atmmachine inside if you dont have cash.
Recommended by a few locals, we decided to grab lunch at this well known little hideaway...and we are really glad we did!!! This place was packed (likely more so due to the NCAA Final Four).We were lucky and only had a 30 minute wait and got ours to go. I had one of the shoft-shelled crab with the disaster fries. I don't think I'll need another meal today!

It's all in the name... We tried a vast amount of po-boys that week and none matched this restaurant. It's small and fairly cheap but the best part for me was the bread..I loved them here.
