Staff with attitude. The manager had to be called because their service was terrible. Coffee was cold and the staff didn't want to help with re-heating. The manager apologized and made a fresh cup of coffee for us. This interaction ruined our experience at the WWII museum.
I grabbed a sandwich and snacks at Jeri Nims when I was at the World War II museum. The BLT I ordered was quite good and better than I expected. The bacon in particular was very tasty. The service was extremely slow despite not being super busy. Overall, this was an average experience.
Food was good, but not great. Servings are large and made fresh just nothing to write home about. The service was A+. Price is about $16 a person
The WW2 Museum that this restaurant is attached to is amazing. We saw this place and thought we'd have a decent lunch in an authentic 1940's setting. They did up every part of the museum in such a wonderful way. However, this place was insulting. The $14 chili cheese dog and $14 pulled pork sandwiches were bad and grossly overpriced. My daughter got a chicken Caesar salad that was fresh, but also ridiculously overpriced for what it was. But the biggest disappointment and missed opportunity for the museum, is the space itself is underwhelming. They need to read these reviews and make some much needed changes.
Good for the 1940's vibe, I ate lunch here one day. Food was typical and service was all right. Small amount of seating inside
I was in such a rush to get to the World War II museum for my 9 am check in that I was unable to stop and get breakfast. Thus, I opted to eat here when my stomach continued to rumble. I had breakfast around 10:45 am. They were out of a lot of the breakfast foods, so I just went with what they had -- eggs, toast and bacon. The eggs were not cooked properly. It was expensive for the breakfast, but it provided enough food to allow me to continue seeing the remainder of the museum.
Barbecue po’boy was okay, but don’t come here expecting anything more than overpriced museum food.
Went to the WWII Museum this past weekend with my wife and kids (both under 2y/o). Museum was amazing. We all had a good time. Well my oldest son was starting to show signs of his seizures he sometimes gets. So I went to the cafe, waiting in line, and picked up some powerade and a milk to help him calm down. But they denied me service because I didnt have a Vaccine Card. I literally had my card out and ready to put into their chip reader but they wouldnt let me. Well luckily the Museum store 10ft away (LITERALLY LIKE 10ft) had sprite and water that I could give him. No vaccine card required. Glad they have such a huge health concern for 2 year olds here….100% do not recommend this place at all.Do not go here.
Service was extremely slow even with very little people there. I am usually not one to complain about price in conjunction with the food but this was ridiculous. A thin grilled cheese (lots of garlic) with a bag of chips was $12. My husband who eats almost anything couldn’t even finish the bbq sandwich because the meat not good. Also it would have been nice if they said fountain drinks were not refillable as they were $3.50. We will go out of our way to not eat there again.
A good place to eat on site at the World War 2 Museum. Our food was warm but not hot. The bread in our sandwiches was the best part. They also had a really good brownie. Don't expect quick service. It took 20 minutes for a hamburger and a BBQ poboy.
