The food was absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, and the service was good. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town and it’s going on my recommendation list
I feel some type of way, I picked up an order from here at 1:10 and asked if they had a fork in the bag because I don't know if the customer is at work or not so I assume, the cashier took that as I was going to take the food (steal). Upon me receiving the food she made sure I confirmed it keep in mind the person in front of me was handed the food and just walked out, Also I just grabbed the food from the cou the last time I picked up. As much as I like trying new places this will not be one all because I wanted to make sure my customer was straight.
I absolutely love their oxtails. I enjoy their cabbage and Caribbean Mac. I find the portions for the rice and peas to be generous, not as flavorful sometimes dry but overall good.Their customer service can be hit or Miss. Lately, it’s been a miss l lolI have been hanged up on for asking a question.I have experienced indifference, attitude when picking up my orders. I chalked it up to them maybe being overwhelmed & having a rough day. But today it was so bad I opted to just support another business in the area all together.Which sucks because JerkHouse food is pretty good! Hopefully it’s just a rough month! I wish them success but will be taking a break indefinitely.
After seeing the great reviews, I wanted to try out their Jerk menu. I had the Jerk Burger and steamed cabbage as a side, which was very good. My Customer, who joined me for lunch, had the Jerk Chicken and he enjoyed it as well. If you enjoy Jamaican food, I would highly recommend the Jamaican Jerk House. The only thing I did not like was how loud the music was playing. Great music, but the volume made it difficult to have a conversation.
I love this place food always good and fresh and the workers are friendly!!! I’m on a diet but I’m coming tomorrow I get 10 % off I’m a loyal customer ? and I never get a picture of my plate when I think about it, it be to late
In town visiting and tried this place based on the high reviews. The price point seemed a little high but whatever. It was just okay to me. The cabbage had entirely too much thyme in it. It was dry thyme at that so it completely altered the flavor and I just didn't like it. My rice and peas was hard. Idk maybe I visited on a bad day. I placed an online order and got there 15 mins after they said my order would be ready so that I wouldn't have to wait. I still had to wait. The girl behind the counter told me she had to send my ticket to the back because otherwise it would just be sitting yet upon my arrival I saw several orders just sitting on the counter. Odd, but ok. The jerk Chicken was ok. I like that they didn't chop it up in a million tiny pieces. Plantains were good.
Yeah, visited for the first time today, got the curry chicken, super good and had that real homemade feel to it, solid and tasty, I'll be back to try out other stuff soon. Great job guys. Very friendly staff.
This was my first time here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food and service were exceptional! I ordered the jerk chicken with cabbage and plantain but they were out of plantain so I substituted for the jerk coco corn and they were delicious! Everything was well seasoned and spiced just right. Will definitely return to enjoy other menu items. Yeah mon!????✊?#blackownedbusiness
Second visit here and I’m hooked lol. First time I had those amazing oxtails and now I’m back for jerk shrimp and chicken wings. The cabbage and Mac n cheese make your mouth water? I’ve been to Jamaica once and the chicken really taste authentic like in their country. Love it here! Bywater area of city Indoor seating Serves alcohol. Next time I wanna try the rum punch!
