Loved the whole experience. the food was amazing, beautifully plated , and quick service. our server was wonderful. a cute and wonderful young woman named Cappy, who made every dish sound delish! we loved the grilled peaches dessert and would not have tried it without her description! wow! it was good. All of the serving staff were fabulous, and very attentive to the patrons. my water was never empty. and the food was served at perfect temperatures. hint: ask for the humus plate even though itâs not on jack rose menu (itâs in the bayou bar menu) - you donât be disappointed! we will definitely be going back!

First time eating at Jack Rose. Amazing costumer service from the the hostess to the servers and everyone in between. I 100% recommended the endless summer drink. The food was good, we got the calamari for starters. Then the fried chicken parm and fettuccine Nero both amazing ! Definitely recommend going. Amazing for pictures also or just drinks!
Despite the well-appointed decor and luscious interiors of the hotel generally, along with the Old World meets Hip Hop Generation theme found on the walls of Jack Rose, there is nothing fussy or pretentious going on here. They serve real food, brought out by real people, catering to patrons who are just as likely to be living paycheck to paycheck as the next guy. Yes, it's for special occasions or just to treat yourself, the way the previous restaurant on the ground floor of Pontchartrain Hotel was always intended. Everyone knows about, yet few locals have dined there, and Jack Rose seems bent on changing that. Service is friendly, amazingly accommodating down to the tiniest request, and not above bedazzling customers with a little extra panache to honor a favored guest. You will leave full -- especially if you venture as far as the Desserts menu -- and possibly a tad tipsy. Speaking of tips, be sure to grace Mr. Earl and his able valet staff at the door if they wrangled your vehicle for you. But do check out the dozens of quality paintings in the parlor before you go, or spend a little extra time with your date in one of the world class bars on premises!
Loved everything about this place! The food was amazing- the atmosphere and the restaurant itself was such a cool space. I would love to come back here. 10/10 recommend.
