My stay was terrible, I arrived on Thursday 7/7/22 and stayed until Wednesday 7/13/22. I can not give this place any stars.\\nThat was a group of 10 and everyone experienced something wrong with their room. We checked in and had to have $1,000 put on our credit card for at incidentals. Then I get to my room and tried over the bed frame which was sticking out. The edge of the frame was broken causing a sharp piece of metal to stick which could have severely cut me. Also one chair in the room was ripped on the armrest. We called the desk, the chair was replaced but we had to wait a day for the bed to be fixed. The other guest that I was with didn’t have their room cleaned for 3 days. They called and no one came. My room was cleaned the first 2 days we called the desk and no one came. On the 4 th day we had to track someone down in the hall to ask about cleaning our room. They didn’t speak English and didn’t understand what we were saying. Once again we called the desk and they said that the room would be cleaned. At about 3:30 we searched the halls to see if housekeeping was still on the floor. We found 3 girls and told them that our room wasn’t cleaned. They were leaving for the day but came and did everything except vacuum. The same day a guest in our group noticed that her bag of clothes was missing. The person who finally cleaned their room, threw her clothes away by accident . An incident report had to be filed.\\nThis was the worst time ever. We were celebrating my mother’s birthday and it was ruined.\\nThey hotel is not a luxury hotel, the carpet needs to be cleaned, the furniture in the room is dusty. The furniture in the lobby needs to be replaced. You are not allowed to use the refrigerator, there is no microwave and there is no shuttle for guest.\\nAll of us (10) had to call for our rooms to be cleaned.\\nI stayed here in 2016 and it was a beautiful place. Everything has changed and I will never stay at this establishment again and I will tell others not try i stay at your hotel.
As soon as you drive up to the location the greeting is warm. You have a choice between valet parking or self parking in the garage next door. Walking into the foyer has a nice at home feeling. There's a restaurant to your right, service desk to you left and straight ahead is the elevators and a bar. The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms was clean and very roomy and the King size bed was comfortable. Bathroom had a nice sized shower as well!!!!!!.There wasn't day to day room service but if you called they did bring you what you needed.
The location is great. There was no room service option at this hotel or housekeeping the entire week I was here. Necessary electric outlets in my room for laptop work were non functioning. The desk light had no light bulb. My hotel reservation was for one king bed and foam pillows; neither of those were honored even though the hotel was the one to contact me to see if I had any specific needs or requests. The bar of soap was the size of my thumb and is NOT usable to shower with. The breakfast restaurant was $30 for the buffet and the man making the omelettes slathered on a story about how he has not had a day off in 3 weeks and can't provide for his children and any tips would be appreciated. This went on with every customer that entered the buffet area. I was here for a full week seminar in this hotel and while the organizers(not affiliated with this hotel in any way) did a great job with 500 tax professionals participating, this hotel overall sucked! I worked in a hotel all through college in Philadelphia and if we hawked customers like this for tips at an already outrageous breakfast price plus tipping the server, we would have been fired on the spot. I am an IHG rewards member and this hotel does not deserve to be part of a hotel chain that generally does a good job. 5 days in a hotel with NO room service, or towels exchanged is unacceptable. Every discussion or question I had for hotel staff about these issues resulted in a NO. Oh and did I mention that the room was $270 per night for all this aggravation? Do yourself a favor and stay across the street at the Marriott.
No room service for our entire stay (4nights) . I had to empty our bins , make our beds , clean the bathroom . I asked the housemaid for clean towels on day 3 and she had none . Gave me a few face flannels and two hand towels. Eventually I tracked down two fresh bath towels .None of this is terrible if the room rate is reduced to reflect the reduced services , however we paid premium prices for a hotel experience and did not received that.Never been in a serviced hotel with no service, ever. I’ve stayed in back packer hostels with better cleaning servicesNo complimentary water either. The concierge also seemedClueless about tourist options, restaurants and getting to / from Jazzfest. Not impressed and would not recommend staying at Intercontinental . Extremely average hotel experience for 5 star price tag.
The check in was quick and friendly. The room was clean and ample. We liked the location. The drawback was in the service. Our shower handle was stuck and we asked for help. No one showed up. After waiting for 20 minutes we asked another guest to help us. About 1 hour later we got a call asking what the problem was. It appears that this hotel has enough group bookings that they don't care.
Everything is nice, Mini Bar broken, but front desk says it’s a 3rd party machine and they can’t help me.
I recently stayed at the hotel on a trip from Ireland. The hotel was wonderful, as were our rooms. It is in a great location, code enough to walk to all the areas we wanted to visit. We didn’t have a whole lot of interaction with staff but the concierge was wonderful and helped us book our days trips and gave us great local advice on restaurants.

The good- Hotel is in a great location. Loved the bartender. The not so good- Its dated and a bit run down. The overall decor could use an overhaul. The food was so so - but your so close to great food so don’t waste your time eating hotel food. The bad- Many amenities were not available due to covid. No room service, pool is closed, no housekeeping. Btw- I totally understand some changes needed due to pervasive staffing issues...however- the most egregious issue was housekeeping. It's one thing to not clean your room every day. It is another to refuse to clean your room for your entire 4 day stay -with two adults and two kids. At one point I was told they would clean halfway through the stay. Then when the room was not cleaned, I was told that you must stay 5 days for your room to be cleaned mid stay. Then when we had a coffee spill in the bed (see above children) I was told they would bring us sheets but would not put them on the bed because housekeepers don't come into the room during the stay. (Which is a contradiction to other things I was told) So not only was housekeeping not avail, but I was told various untruths. This is a 4-star hotel and is priced as such so I think that a minimum amount of service should be offered. Above that, if such services will not be available, it would be better if we were told when booking as opposed to when we checked in.
