Sweet potato roll is decent the Gustavo roll is horrible. It taste like a sponge and old. It’s also supposed to have mango and avocado on every bite and it looks like they just put old salmon on top. It’s also supposed to have sweet chili sauce and spicy mango on it. I would never come here again, their prices are decent but their quality is horrible.
We went for a coworker's birthday at 11:30am lunch. It was not very crowded at all. Parking was a little difficult to find since its a small parking lot. We were seated quickly and ordered our drinks and ordered off the menu. Staff was attentive enough. I wouldn't term it friendly. Lunch combo comes with clear soup, salad (very small), vegetables, fried rice and your choice of protein. My lunch of steak and shrimp with a $3 green tea came to $29. Our group's concerns were about the leftover dried rice and food still left on the hibachi grill as we waited for the chef to arrive. We wondered why it hadn't been cleaned from the night before. The chef arrived about 20 minutes after seating and confirmed our individual orders. Best part of lunch was the flame burst as chef used oil to torch the hibachi. The rice was very good. Several of my coworkers ordered steak and shrimp combo along with me. I ordered steak medium. Chef served my steak well with everyone else's choice. It wasn't dry but not my preference. It's been a while since I visited a hibachi restuarant, but I remember more fanfare with cooking the meal in front of the customers and general chatting with the seated guest from the chef. The restuarant allows for separate checks, will charge a small differential for paying with cash versus credit card. Overall it was a good meal. No one tried the sushi. Maybe on another visit if we give it another try.
This is a review of the Sushi side of the business, I didn't have any hibachi/teppanyaki, but there was a line of people waiting for it, so it must have been good.So this place offers AYCE sushi, but you have to ask for it. (You can also get soups, salads, tempura, even noodles with the deal) Sushi was quite good and while a lot of places that offer AYCE sushi skimp on the fish and go heavy on the rice, that's not the case here- the nigiri were well portioned, and the maki were as well. I even ordered some sashimi and was surprised to find that instead of giving me a "nigiri-sized" slice, I got a proper thick slice. I liked everything I ordered, and the only surprise I got was that the tuna toll was not a tekka roll, but an urumaki filled with tuna. Not what I expected, but still quite tasty. In fact, the only complaint I really could lodge at all is that *I* overindulged, and left the restaurant more full that I really should have. But that's not their fault, it's mine. Well maybe it is party theirs, because the food was *so* delicious.TL; DR- 10/10 would reccomend.
Great staff, got seated fairly quickly, the sashimi was good but the sushi has an excessive amount of rice. Definitely not recommended for people looking to eat sushi.
My son took me here for Mother's Day dinner. It was his first time paying for a meal and tipping. He did good! The ordering process was swift, the cooking process was also swift. We did not get the full show tho. Normally they ask if you want to catch food... they didn't ask!The bill came but the waitress did not give it to me or even acknowledge that she was dropping off the bill. She just sort of left it hanging around an awkward place... not really in arms reach ?.I didn't pick it up because it couldn't have possibly been for me!! The waitress came looking for the bill and took it away. Came back a short time later saying my card had declined. I explained to her that was impossible. I had never given her a card nor had I seen an actual bill. There was some confusion but finally I got the bill and went to use the restroom... it was filthy and smelled very bad.... like something died in there. When I head back to the table my son tells me that they asked him to get up from the table because they needed it for the next guest. So they basically put him out from the table without giving him a bag to hold his food or the utensils he asked for.Needless to say, my son and I had a conversation about the type of service he should expect from any establishment. Their actions did not align with the large tip he gave them. I have had many great experiences here but unfortunately they dropped the ball this time. I won't be back anytime soon... if at all!
All the hibachi or all you can eat place are rush rush rush, I don’t like that part but the service was pretty good, just the old lady they are very annoying with the food. But the fried rice is very very good. 25 usd for dinner all you can eat. The roll are big. I recommend the noodles and rice.
Stopped in for lunch and will go back. Friendly staff and really nice food. I got the tempura lunch; the vegetables were top notch. I also ordered 3 rolls because, since this was my first visit here, I wanted to give them a try. The chocolate roll was a new one to me, I do like seared tuna so I tried this one. I also ordered the snow crab and yellowtail/scallion to do a comparison with other restaurants I like. These held up but my order was not heard right and the scallions were missing. All and all a great experience.
The food was delicious but I won't be returning. After waiting 10 minutes the server asked us what we wanted . We ordered and received our drinks. Then we told her we wanted to share a hibachi meal. She stated that we could not share a meal. I told her that we had been there 2 weeks before and had shared a meal. At this point we stayed and ordered steak & chicken hibachi. I told her we would not be back. She brought the bill & it had one order steak and chicken. I gave her my credit card when it was returned to me I was then charged for a steak meal & a chicken meal. I won't be back. I hope it was worth it to them to charge me for two meals instead of a split meal because they lost two customers. R
Waited 45 minutes for table. Once seated service was poor. Soup and salad came with cook. Plates leftover food on them, not washed very well. Cook very rude.
Good day, my family and I made a reservation for 7:30pm on Thursday March for a party of 25. As we arrived we were told that we had to wait until a Hibachi was available. I really didn't understand that being that I had a reservations. We didn't get seated until 8:30. We waited patiently. The staff wasn't very friendly at all. Just was rude. Than to top it off we were eating and the next thing we see Isa rat and a mouse run around our feet. So disturbing. The staff just act like it was no big deals. So disturbing for everyone.. We were celebrating my grandson birthday it ended up being a not so good night.Alice P.
