I have been going to HOB NOLA for 20 years ... always my first stop when hitting New Orleans. Except this week because it is only open Th/Fri/Sat from 4-10 p.m.. The Spanish moss on the entry is gone. The fabulous red lights on the bar are gone. I always order Jack and Coke -- "no Coke ... do I want Pepsi"? Nevermind ... give me Southern Comfort on the rocks. We have Southern Comfort but don't have it in out menu so can't price it (finally coded it as something else and charged me $16 for a glass of SoCo!!!!!). Menu has only 5-6 entries. I ALWAYS have the jambalaya because it is the best that I have ever had -- "we are out of jambalaya tonight"!! OK ... try the Cajun pasta ... which had NO shrimp, NO chicken, and about 6 small pieces of andouille sausage. ABSOLUTELY the worst dining experience I have ever had in New Orleans. Should just close the place.
The food was pretty awful. But I guess you donât go for the food
Very bad service , the waitress never asked us what to eat . They messed up with the drinks.
Great Ambiance, Great Service and Delicious Food!!!
It took 15+ minutes to get a server after multiple request. Another 20+ mins to drinks from the bar. Our orders came out incomplete with missing ingredients. Food we did get was above average. Our server was trying hard, but she was setup to fail by the managers. I would avoid this location for food at all costs.
Great service!
Abby was great!
Our server was fabulous! And the band in the voodoo garden was great
Fun! Recommend
Horrible Experience for my first time in New Orleans celebrating Birthdays. Bad food, Bad Service, and still ended up with a bill for nearly $200 after speaking with the manager. Wont be back. Definitely donât recommend this spot.
