This place is incredible! The sushi is fresh and made to perfection! The taste is amazing and they have a lot of new and fun rolls. The special roll named the same as the restaurant was delicious. We came in a large group ( ten people) and every single thing we ordered was just perfect! This is something we have never experienced before. The food is just amazing! Hot plates, soups, salads and sushi-all perfect. The hot and sour soup was enormous. They also have great service and a clean and comfortable ambient. Really a hidden gem in the Garden District.

A New Orleans favorite- especially when it’s late night! This asian food gives you everything you want for late night dining! The prices are reasonable and the environment feels slightly elevated.

Food was good and the sushi delicious. Customer service was good. If I came back to New Orleans and living near the central city neighborhood this is where I’d come for sushi.

Everything on the menu seems really overpriced for even very simple things like $11 for fried rice with meat mixed in but no entree, but the reason is because they give you a lot that can be shared between at least 2 or 3 people if you buy something else, and everything that was ordered from the menu was so much more than it looked on the menu. Everything tasted really delicious and homemade in the most delicious upscale way. One of the dishes that was ordered was General Tso's which we all know what it tastes like, but there it was very obviously homemade and so absolutely uniquely delicious like they had made the sauce and chicken to order instead of ordering it from restaurant depot. This is an amazing place to bring a normal or large family on a special occasion and great for 2 people if you dont mind spending maybe $30 and having a ton of leftovers.

Nice place! I have been often. Always same good service. Good place to bring a group.

Waitstaff was knowledgeable and recommended delicious new drinks to try. The sushi is the best in the city especially the Buddha belly and surf and turf. The ambience is warm and the restaurant is clean. My only sadness is that the balcony is not open. I open it opens in time for Mardi Gras. I am a local and love this place. It is a hidden gem.

Ambiance: 5 starsService: 5 starsFood: 5 starsI'm going to keep this short and sweet. Hoshun's food is delicious, their servers are polite and knowledgeable, and the ambiance is gorgeous. Not only that but the cost was well within range for dining out on a weeknight.

Giving 3 start only for the Mongolian beef. The Pumpkin Pum Duck wasn't nice. Dry, overcooked and the sauce tasted like jam from the supermarket. Also the prices advertised outside are lower than the menu inside

We were looking for a place that stays open late and this little gem popped up. We were a little confused when they started closing up at midnight, though. Their website said 2 and Google maps said 1? Other than that mix up...I thought the food was fantastic ?I especially loved the spicy tuna salad. The fried rice was really good too. Great quality and quantity, and friendly staff.Another thing to take into consideration before dining here is the location. I wouldn't stray too far from the restaurant, the area is sketchy. Be careful!

Wow has this place gone down hill… pork dish was chewy and tasted like caramel it was so sweet. Calamari was like rubber bands and paid almost 100 for a two top and ate with plastic forks.
