Without a doubt one of the things that I would tell anyone visiting New Orleans that they need to visit while in town. It's old school and full of vibe, the menu is big and you should try everything.
So delicious!!! Perfectly powdery snowcone way overfilled and tasty. I got a cantaloupe/honeydew/watermelon!
So yummy! A New Orleans classic. So many flavors! Remember to keep your cup, if you get a size with a plastic one. This place is vintage & rustic; it is not posh, sleek or shiny.
I had my first Hansen’s sno-bliz about 60 years ago. I feel like I am 8 years old again. The Thai tea with evaporated milk was wonderful!
I had a satsuma and snobliz flavored shaved ice, and not only was it incredibly light and fluffy, but the flavors were fantastically bright and tart. The staff was very friendly too, and it definitely feels like a cool neighborhood store.
I've never had a snow cone like this one. It's soft fluffy ice and they have the best flavor choices. I had hibiscus and satsuma. Be prepared for a wait, especially on a weekend.
Chris assisted with helping us choose the right flavor mix & explained his joy in making amazing sno-ball flavor combos. Definitely will be back
My favorite sno-ball stand and arguably the inventor of the machine that made sno-balls possible. Plenty of parking around the store in the neighborhood to stop and get your fix. They take cards now which makes it so much easier to enjoy. The best flavor selection and they change it up all the time based on what's going on around the city. Yes you will wait and yes it is worth it. Staff picks are helpful when you can't make up your mind. I typically combine something with Satsuma since it's an iconic flavor and one of my favorite to cut sweetness. Don't forget toppings, I love incorporating crushed strawberries and condensed milk.
Delicious, soft, shaved ice. They employees were really helpful and helped us get two delicious combos: vanilla bean/chocolate and cream of ice cream/cream of nectar. We waited ~20 minutes on a warm Sunday afternoon.
I will still give this place five stars even though the strawberries and cream was not tasting like it should. And my girlfriend's coconut and nectar snowball turned out to be a bubble gum and coconut snowball.
