This was my first visit here. Overall the food was good and my family enjoyed it as well. I would recommend if you're looking to try something different. As you can see, you do cook some of the food yourself.

LOVE. To me, atmosphere is just as important as the quality of food. This place has both. PERFECT date night spot. We did the meat lovers for two. You start with soup, small appetizer plates, then salad, then the different cuts of super high quality meat is brought out. Not sure if it was all supposed to come out at the same time or they were just running a little behind on some but to me it seemed like it was all perfectly timed. You cook your meat to your liking on the grill in the middle of the table, and they have 3 uniquely delicious sauces on the table for dipping. Then you get to make your own s’more! Very clean, great food, great service, wonderful experience!

Run babe girls and boys. They run out of everything and the price are freaking expensive and the food are normal. I mean I will expect Japanese BBQ would taste like this and nothing special and the amount of the food are not a lot at all … no no…

Absolutely amazing. Never had Japanese BBQ before. Would definitely do this again. It's like a fondue experience but with meat and a Japanese flair. You get so much food for the price you pay. And the staff was great. They are a reservation only establishment but fit us in at last minute. Highly recommend this restaurant. For a romantic date or an evening out with friends you won't go wrong here.

Very nice bbq place. Much better than the one we had in Honolulu. Sauces was good. Meat was well seasoned. Nice service. The place is a bit small but cozy and clean

Oishii! Very much so.Early dinner with co-worker. He'd never had Japanese BBQ so we decided to check this place out. Reservations are recommended, but we were lucky and snagged a table.Server Max informed us that many items were unavailable due to their supplier not making a scheduled delivery. She did a great job accomodating us by offering suggestions and answering our questions. We ordered the Ninja Feast which was for 3 people.Miso soup, salad, and appetizer (fried wontons) were quickly served. All were good. The cuts of meat arrived in two waves allowing us to pace the meal. Dessert was smores which perfectly wrapped up the meal.All-in with tip was $135. Very delicious meal and solid service. Definitely worth a visit next time in NOLA.

Chose to come here while on a business trip cause I miss living in Japan and was feeling nostalgic. Walked in and was greeted with some pretty angry RnB followed by a very eclectic assortment of music (pretty loud). Very pleased to see a good assortment of Japanese beers - my favorite Asahi - included. Went with the spicy bibimbap with meat since I’m solo and wasn’t in the mood to cook for myself. Overall pleasant wait staff, good food (not great) and good atmosphere if not a bit too loud - other around me have to raise their voices to speak to each other. Why not a 5 if the owner reads this? The portion of meat in my bowl is seriously lacking - see pic. Otherwise good experience :)

This is the worst restaurant I've been to, the waiters have no service, no smiling faces. It’s $65 per person and I expected a better experience for the price. We waited 30 minutes for our first meal (all u can eat) and when we wanted to order another food, the staff told us that it was too busy to make it and they also have a 90-minute limit. Food is very stale. I will never go to this company-owned restaurant again. Also, all the plates and silverware were very dirty and still had bits of food and sauce stuck to them.

Garlic fried rice is off the damn chain!!! High quality cut meats & flavorful side dishes. Best way to use the sauce is dipping them in the sectioned dish plate they provide so you don’t oversoak your meal. Best time to go is during lunch to catch their special for $20. Beware, watch your meat on the grill because you can burn it quite fast and smoke up the place.

Food - 4.5 stars. The meat was delicious. They were out of broccoli so we ordered asparagus and at least 40% of the pieces were the ends of the spears and inedible. (Half point taken off for this)The service was garbage. It took a long time for someone to wait on us (we had a reservation too). After I finally got my water it was at least another 5-10 minutes before my husband got his beer. Our water glasses were empty multiple times before our server came to check on us.This would be fun to do as a group. The food was worth the visit, overall.
