My wife and my father-in-law popped in for a cold one on a whim, and it turned out to be well worth it. It was like we had been there a hundred times, and we were treated like old regulars. Six beers in we decided we'd better move on, as we'd already made plans for the evening. It would have been very easy to just make a day of it there though.
Stopped in after Thanksgiving dinner. Bartender (didn't catch her bame) was super friendly and great!
Sami was an absolute treat as a bartender. We were pretty rowdy and she gave all the nonsense right back in a funny, sarcastic, but still friendly way. If you’re popping into Garden District Pub you should hope Sami is behind the bar if you want to have a good time.

Very cool little neighborhood bar with authentic decor. Bartender was friendly and the beers were cheap so it fit the bill perfectly.
Sam is the best bartender loads of laughs, cheers like feel to the little bar. Def worth stopping in.
