Great food. Poor service. We ordered appetizers, salad and entrees. The appetizers and salad came out together which was fine. However, the entrees came out less than 2 minutes after the appetizers arrived, meaning we had No time to finish the appetizers before the entrance arrived.. Did not see the waitress for a while so we've just used this extra plate she brought us to cover up the entree and keep it warm until we're ready for it
Food was amazing!!!! Wait time…none….only thing was my husband’s overcooked oysters that he ordered for the seafood platter, they made it right by sending 7 new, perfectly fried oysters, would definitely visit again!!
Awesome experience! The food was really good and the service was impeccable. Everyone including the manager was so attentive amd caring; even on the way out the door. Definitely adding to my favorites for every NOLA trip.
Overall, the food here was very good. We had seafood penne and salmon, and enjoyed our meals very much. We had good service, though the host seemed a bit on the gruff side. The restaurant inside has a nice ambiance, but outside not so much. It's on the ground floor of what appears to be an office building, in a mostly business district. We were seated at a front table, where we got to look out on an industrial lift being used to work on the building and on the various other servers and kitchen help taking their smoke breaks.
We all ordered something different, and everyone's meal was fantastic. We had alligator bites, the Taste of New Orleans, Po-Boy Shrimp, and Shrimp Platter. The service was excellent, the host was super friendly, and again....the food was spot on!
Well, i have no idea why this site says its vegetarian friendly, absolutely not. But I had the blacked redfish. Boring. Not seasoned properly (very bland) it sat lying on my plate like an uninspired lump. The potato salad was OK. Not great. The restaurant smells weird. I know I know, oysters, but that wasn't it. I couldn't say what...maybe locker room? But not good. Service was very good from our server. My wife's food (Cajun penne) was good and a healthy portion as well.
Wow. We had all kinds of stuff, and it was all great, but this was the best fried shrimp I've ever had in my life. Try it with the cocktail sauce or the remoulade.Red beans and rice were also fantastic. Catfish was tender and juicy. Everything was perfectly seasoned. And the wait was minimal even though they were very busy.
Walked in and sat immediately. Located Right off the bourbon strip past canal street. The food was excellent. Service is very good. Portions are massive and well priced. There is a full bar. The seafood pasta can easily serve 2 people with big appetites. The shrimp po boy was our favorite.
Somewhat of a dive bar atmosphere bur supers service and deiendlybattenrive staff. Terrific happy hour oyster specials .....food is great....oysters beat I've had in NOLA.
The waiter was very entertaining and the food was great. The oysters are quite large compared to those you find in other cities but the flavor was awesome. It wasn't the most upscale place but that's exactly the vibe I was hoping for.
