Absolutely loved this spot! The Mt. Olympus Flowers tea was deliciously soothing with notes of sage. Loved the art and the overall aesthetic of the place, the person working was friendly and helpful too! The outdoor patio was comfortably cool and quiet on a hot June morning, perfect for getting a little work done while we waited to check into our airbnb. I will definitely stop by again on my next visit to NOLA.
Hidden gem with a secret garden patio and little artists/reading lounge in the back. Coffee and breakfast burrito were very good, but the friendly staff and the ambiance are what make this spot stand out. Not your average coffee shop full of teleworkers or tourists…. Honestly felt more like a spa meditation lounge (I did go at 9am on a Thursday so there were only about 5 other guests in the place, all appeared to be locals).
I had my second visit to Fourth Wall this past Saturday 5/28/2022 when I took friends there who live in the Irish Channel. I first "discovered" it when it popped up as a Google Maps suggestion as the streetcar was nearing the area in October 2021.I immediately loved the area in the street in front of the place with benches, tables and even hanging plants. Once inside there are so many nooks for people to sit, study and converse. There's even a courtyard/patio in the very back of the mostly long, narrow building (be sure to check out the large room off to the side towards the back) which has a great variety of artworks on the walls and elsewhere. If you enjoy reading, there's a good collection of used books that can be read on premises or purchased to take with you. There's a well stocked bar beyond the coffee area, but I'm not sure when it's in service. I do know that spiked coffee is sometimes available in the coffee area.Fourth Wall is definitely my favorite place in New Orleans for coffee (try the London Fog), conversation and contemplation.
Gorgeous bohemian vibe coffee shop, filled with cool art, quirky furniture and amazing coffee! The pastries and quiche were damn fine too.
This is the kind of place where you could spend all day, and in fact I have. There are tons of cozy corners (indoors or on the sweet little patio out back) to snuggle up with a book or project. All the baristas are incredibly kind and helpful, especially my favorite, Elise. She makes a mean latte and has impeccable music taste. If you are not getting your coffee at the fourth wall, you are truly missing out.
Fourth Wall is my favorite hidden gem coffee shop in Nola!! Located on Gravier St nestled between the highest high rises in Nola, is this sweet gem of a cafe! They have oat milk for lattes and vegans that need non dairy options, like me! I had the best oat milk latte of my life there! They also have a full bar and are open late some nights. I went to an AMAZING book launch at Fourth Wall that was just so fun! Great venue for small but awesome events and an even better spot to sit and read or study! Dog friendly and even has a cute little courtyard with seating. Such a cute spot to check out! I highly recommend a visit.
I go to Fourth Wall almost every day to read and work ‘from home’ :) it’s a beautiful cafe with charming staff and good music. If you’re a relaxed person looking for your secret hideout in the city, this is the place.
Great place for coffee and work! The ambience is unique. Artsy and vintage. Definitely a great spot for some inspiring insta pictures!
Only one person working the register AND making the drinks, so the wait was incredibly long. The best drink in the place is the Arizona canned tea from the cooler. God-awful indie music being played at all times. The only redeeming quality of the place is the quirky decor.
Stopped by today and grabbed some roasted beans for a present. The barista Annie was extremely helpful and helped me pick a fantastic blend. Also the coffee was great. This place is the best secret in town!
