Started out here in the early evening, then came back in the late evening. We had a fun time!! The music was great!!

We went to Favela Chic after venturing over the Frenchman street in search of food on a Sunday evening. Although the food was pretty basic (and certainly not worth venturing out for) the live Jazz Blues played by the band was a great addition to our trip to NOLA.

Came in to get a chicken taco while my friends waited 45 minutes for hot dogs at Dat Dog. It came quickly. Good deal for $5. I was EXPECTING like 2 pieces of chicken and like 2 tomato chunks, but this was ACTUALLY bursting with chicken and pico de gallo. It was pretty tasty. My friends were fans of the pizza and quesadilla.Definitely recommend.Bathroom isn't anything to write home about, but it's WAY better than the bathrooms in the bars where I went to college, definitely decent for a bar in a popular area.

Sunday night, band was very cool. Bartender was very unfriendly. She did not seem to fit the vibe there. We would’ve spent more time there, but took our business elsewhere.

This was such a fun and funky place - the band of the evening put on an amazing show and some members of the audience captivated us with swing dancing. Please ask about drink prices in advance - it seems the inflation has gotten a tad crazy at the bars. My friend used the ladies room and said it was a bit of a horror story, so heads up on that too!

We came across this wonderful place by accident, we were the first ones in for the night. We ended up staying for 2.5 hours and saw a FANTASTIC drag show. We didn’t even know it was a drag bar and we had been looking for one near us all night. The queens were all absolutely phenomenal and the staff was all super nice. I had the best time and will be going back on my next trip.

They always have great live music and the food is good too. Definitely a spot to hit up while on Frenchmen.

The only reason this bar is getting two stars is because the live band was great and the painted murals on the outside were nice. Otherwise, I'd only give this place 1 star. We paid over $100 (after tip) for 4 basic vodka cocktails served to us in small plastic cups. We ordered doubles and had been paying around $12 for this cocktail at other places.. My friends and I don't mind paying for good drinks but these were far from it. I suggest asking about drink prices before you purchase.

The band playing was amazing! Singers were spectacular. So fun to watch some superb dancing on the dance floor. This was the best thing we did on our trip!

Went to this bar last Tuesday night (Dec.28) I would have given this place 1 star if it hadn’t been for the good food. Aside from that, the guy bar tendered struck up a conversation with me and my significant other and told me “people should really get over race.” He attitude towards us and being ignored all night was reason enough for us to leave and go elsewhere. Never again!
