Friendly staff. Good margaritas. Nice selection of street tacos. Supply chain issues caused a shortage of a couple of selections. The salsa flight was OK. Habanero hot sauce was more sweet than spicy. Tomatillo sauce was totally tasty. Mild sauce was refrigerator temp. Would have liked it warm.
Friend and his wife brought me here when we had some time to kill before another event. In hindsight, I’m so thankful we stopped in. First, it seems to be a little hidden gem along a nondescript street that honestly looks like it was closed from a distance. When we approached and entered we were able to get a seat immediately at the bar. Our bartender, Zen, was very friendly and an excellent mixologist. She recommended some Mezcal-based drinks for me and my group and we got started. After discussing Mezcal for a little while, the owner, Jason, happened to wander over and joined the conversation and made some really incredible recommendations for things we should try. Every Mezcal we had was better than the last. Because I was also just taking recommendations from the bartender and owner, a little part of me wondered what the bill was going to look like when I left but surprisingly it was extremely affordable. In short, come for the food but stay for the mezcal and experience. The people and the products here really differentiate this place from my average New Orleans dining experience.
So yummy and great atmosphere! A bit of a wait for food but meh, I kind of expect it at places with good food these days. The corn was to die for, and there are a few great vegetarian tacos!
Very quiet, most likely due to the time we went, just before Friday night parades rolled. Service was a little inattentive but otherwise fine. Food arrived very fast. One of the best fish tacos we've ever had. didn't care for the crawfish queso (too much sour cream and not enough queso). Took the elote to-go, and it was great even cold the next day. Would love to see a larger menu from this place (once supply chains are stable, prices level and covid restrictions are eased).
A fabulous lunch, Arroz con Camarones which is grilled gulf shrimp, creamy poblano, cilantro rice, cotija cheese, pico and watermelonradish. With a side of Mexican Rice.
Delicious tacos and margaritas! Ambiance was great also service

The tacos and margaritas were amazing! We had one of each of the tacos. I highly recommend the cauliflower tacos. The elote was phenomenal, we were practically licking the bowl. Cool ambiance with local artists featured throughout the restaurant.
