This place was amazing. Our server, Penn, was fantastic. They offered a delicious happy hour bubbly cocktail, oysters, small bites (to include the best warmed cheese I've ever had). Penn offered to take our photo and even recommended some other local places to check out. Since our visit, we have already been trying to find time to go back before our trip ends for more excellent service, cocktails and food.

Lovely, lovely, lovely place. By far the most relaxing stop we made in NOLA. They have a courtyard that is dog friendly and when it began to rain, they made us right at home by relocating us to the porch. The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgable. For anyone who loves sparkling wines, this is a must-stop.

My favorite place in New Orleans! And this coming from a 'beer guy'... ? It's elegant and sophisticated, without being pretentious, yet still comfortably casual. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. And the flights are wonderful...tasting many options I'd never otherwise get the chance to taste. My go-to place with all my visitors...
Wow. Just incredible! The atmosphere, the service, the bubbles, and the FOOD!! Dear gods, the food was breathtaking. Honestly, some of the best I've had in NOLA, and that's saying something, because anyone who's been here knows the food is world-class. Anyway, can't say enough good things about these folks. The owners came and said hi, because the partner I was there with is a regular, and they were both so lovely.Highly recommend. ??
Cold, wet evening in New Orleans. Exactly the weather I came from the mid-Atlantic to escape. And there, one block from my hotel, was Effervescence. Y'all, I had cocktails, a glass of Malbec rosé, Marcona almonds, and the best melted cheese and dates appetizer. Everything was absolutely first class, from the food and drinks to the attentive and friendly service. They noticed when I needed another glass of water, or a drink refill. Everything added up to a first-class, five-star evening. Go there! Drink some bubbles and have a good time.
