Nothing super fancy here about this place, but they do have pretty good food. They really could cut back on their menu a bit, and would probably save them on the food costs and cost of operating as their menu has so many items. Nonetheless, I had my nephew with me, and we both ordered several different types of chicken wings. We found them all to be good. Our waitress was cheerful and friendly, and always kept up with everything. I would feel comfortable to recommend this place.

1 star cause the bartender was friendly. 1 star cause they play good music. No stars for that nasty food. The dressing to my salad tasted like straight vinegar. I threw it away. The vegetable burger had no seasoning. I was really impressed with the portion size but I wouldn't eat here again. I had the munchies and it was still nasty. That says a lot.

Wish I read the reviews before I ordered. Ordered a catfish platter more like a kiddy plate. 4 Fish nuggets with a whole plate full of fries. I guess the fries suppose to compensate for the fish. A fish platter should be 2 whole pieces of catfish not nuggets. The burger was ok but was not seasoned much. Restuarant is over priced for the food they are serving.

Shawarma was different from what I'm used to but still ok. Nice atmosphere in the courtyard. However, while I was out front waiting for my companion - some guy with an empty Grubhub bag came out of the restaurant and started randomly telling me he was the devil, god hates him and we're all on earth under contract from aliens. Not sure if he was inane or jut wanted entertain himself. It was my worst experience in NOLA. I asked Down the Hatch if they knew this person because I saw him chatting with a restaurant employee beforehand. They did not respond....

The burgers are good, but they only have seasoned fries, which I hate, so I never eat here despite its proximity to my house.I'll never understand why restaurants don't just offer regular fries and seasoned fries, unless they buy the fries pre-seasoned somehow, which sounds unlikely and gross.

The cuban had no meat on one end of the sandwich. The Philly was underwhelming. There are too many great places to eat in NOLA. Skip this one.

Texas burger and buffalo wings were incredible. Bartender was excellent. Fast, efficient, and pleasant. Will definitely go back. Great little neighborhood bar and grill.

Didn’t begin my order until the door dash driver ARRIVED at the restaurant, so it took double the time it should have. Genuinely bad food. I’ve had better spinach dip from a jar. Super small portion. Chips stale, not salty. Cheese fries covered in a liquid cheese lower quality than what you get at a high school football game. Wings mediocre. Use better chicken. Going to tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

Food took two hours to arrive with 0 communication- and we don’t live far. I didn’t feel quite right when eating my burger last night, and I’m writing this as I woke up at 5am to purge whatever that food was. I thought my intestines were shutting down. Safe to say I will not be eating from there ever again.

It's a dive bar in New Orleans where locals go. We walked here from Lilly's Cafe and bought a few beers before heading over to City Park. I had the mango wheat beer. Service was standard. It was a typical dive bar. There was maybe one other party there when we were there after lunch. Apparently, they also serve food but we didn't order any. We finished our beers and left in a Lyft.
