We love the food from Dixie! Great local spot with so many options! You must TRY their GUMBO!
I ordered the Chicken and Ribs w/ cabbage and corn on the cob. The ribs and cabbage was delicious. The chicken is cooked to order so it comes out hot; could use a bit more seasoning but good. Fast and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this place.
Fried chicken was crisp a delicious. Not greasy at all. The veal parmesan was very good too
I haven't been there in a long time and was sooooo disappointed. They didn't have any fried chicken, the red beans and rice were hard and not fully cooked with no taste. I certainly miss the good old days where you get what you pay for. I won't be going back u fortunately.
They were short of Staff but the waitress was very very pleasant Noble she misplaced our order and it took a while to eat but the food was good it was a family night out.
The shrimp Poyboy & Gumbo were excellent.
Fried chicken was delicious the corn stew was awesome! There seafood platter was good but there was only a few oysters, 5 shrimp and two small pieces of fish. They make some of the best fried onions you'll find in the area. Potato salad used to be pretty good but all 3 of us who ordered it last night thought it was rotten. Absolutely tasted nasty! Peas and carrots last night also had a very Strang and unbalanced taste, dunno how that can happen but rest assured it was not good! I'll be back for the Fried chicken, onion rings, and corn stew no doubt!
Great service with food that was fresh and delicious (ordered onion rings and fried chicken). Hadn't been here in many years but was glad to see nothing had changed.
the food's really good so is the service Julie is a wonderful waitress lots of fun and will make you laugh. can't wait to go back and see her again.
Sandy is the best. Food is great also.
