Dickie Brennan's has a phenomenal but simple menu. It is well worth your time to make a trip for an evening out. Wine selection is top notch. The service was great and timely. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

we cebrated a birthday with my Mom. Staff helped present her tiara, sash, and pin. She felt really special. Great food, excellent service.
Amazing food and quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The truffle mac & cheese was absolutely devine. I'll be thinking about this meal for a long time!
Service is always wonderful, professional and friendly. Best steaks that I have ever had and if you like chocolate make sure you have their Mississippi mud. I come to New Orleans for a month every year and always eat here. Great restaurant!
My 2 teenage children and I went for dinner. Upon being seated, we saw, who would be our server, Mark, roll his eyes at us. Immediately after being seated and before we even had a chance to open our menus, heâs asking for appetizer orders. He also snidely commented as I opened the wine list that the book was for bottles only. Strike 1: while I knew I wouldnât finish a bottle, I was interested in perhaps having 2 glasses and there was more variety and selection. Our bill got smaller since I opted then for a glass only. He came back only 2 minutes later again asking for our order. I asked him to come back in a few more minutes where he passive aggressively stated, âtake your time,â with another eye roll. We barely finished appetizers when our entrees were served. My steak was overcooked but by this point I wasnât bothering to send it back. My son even commented how we were being treated differently than the other patrons - guests who arrived before us had their orders taken later than us and in a much more relaxed and enjoyable manner. Mark glared at us from the server station as we ate. No sooner did I put my fork down, was he at the table clearing away dishes. He dropped my fork on the floor as he asked if I was still eating my side dish. My children opted not to have dessert and I chose not to order a cognac that was of interest to me as we were not enjoying the meal at all. Again the bill got smaller (and Markâs tip - no I didnât stiff him; he received his 20% though it wasnât deserved). In total we were there 40 minutes from stepping inside the door to receiving the bill to sign. Much too rushed for what is supposed to be a fine dining establishment. The surrounding patrons with other servers all appeared to be having a lovely experience. I did mention this to the management at the front to receive apologies; hopefully they will address this to Mark & the staff.
Great food and service!
The staff was amazing. We had a problem with a large group being too loud so they moved us to the main dining area. The food was delicious especially the crab cake appertizer and the large filet. The Sommelier reccomended a wine that was not our taste. Should have stayed with our first choice! We will return!
