HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I placed an online order based upon the directions of Dickey’s email promotion. I made my online order and paid for it in full at 11:30 this morning. I scheduled a 4 PM pick up. I printed the order receipt with the receipt number. I went to the restaurant at 4 PM on July 8 to pick up my order. I was told that this was not a receipt and there would be no food for me to pick up. The paper I printed and brought with me clearly reads RECEIPT with the receipt number. The woman who claims to be a manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. She did not care that I was out of the money and refused to make my food . She offered no apology, no solution, and did not want to help. I would never recommend this restaurant, Dickey’s barbecue in Harahan, to anyone. This woman does not represent your restaurant in a professional manner. Shame on her and Dickey’s. I will NEVER step foot in your restaurant or recommend you to anyone. I left your restaurant with no food, no money and felt extremely disrespected. Horrible employee and experience. No customer should be treated so rudely. Corporate will be hearing from me and my attorney.
My mother placed an online order today, July 8, 2022. The order was scheduled to be picked up at 4 PM at Dickey’s in Harahan. In summary, the woman(who claimed to be the manager and was rude as can be) working the register stated she never received the online order through the POS. She absolutely refused to honor the order and make the food, even though my mother had a receipt stating it was paid for. There was absolutely no one in the restaurant and she could have processed the order. When asked how to get a refund, she shrugged her shoulders. She offered no solution and no help. Customers should never be treated with such disrespect. She is an awful representative of Dickey’s. If I behaved like this in my job, I would be fired. This location will absolutely hear from our attorney for blatant theft and false advertising. My mother followed the directions for the online order she received in a promotional email from Dickey’s. It was not honored. She received no food and no refund even though she brought in the online receipt.
The food is always cold and the service is slow. There was one person preparing the food while two other people sat in the back! Customers were leaving left and right. Horrible experience!!
everything was cold the purée did not come with yellow cheese or green onion the soda was sent without a lid I ordered macaroni and they told me there was none so I ordered roasted beans and they sent me two from dad
Bruh... this was my second time to this location, but I don't really remember it, it's been too long. I only knew, because I have a Dickey's cup at home. The crew was very courteous, friendly and accommodating.I was offered a complimentary ice cream cone and everything. The food... dude, everything tasted great! The turkey was so delicious and juicy, I wanted to slap my mama! (Sorry ma.) I also had the pork ribs, good as hell! The kielbasa sausage, that blew my socks off too. The sides were well seasoned, warm and just good! I had the Mac n Cheese and the baked potato casserole.Would I go back? Hell yes! Will I wanna slap my mama again? Probably, but I won't. Y'all go get'chu some Dickey's, ya won't be sorry!
Worst place ever! I will upload the owner of this page’s response to my complaint and concern about a child’s safety in that restaurant.
I will never order from this location again!! The first time, my sandwich was wrong, my onion rings were cold and my lemonade was hot. This time, I ordered online, which is what I normally do so I can have it delivered. Almost an HOUR AFTER I ordered I get a text message stating that there was "something" wrong with my order to call the location, so I did. I was told that their internet was down and that they never got my order but if I told them what I ordered then I could go pick it up. THERE IS A REASON WHY I ORDERED DELIVERY!!!!!! So now, I'm out of my lunch and out of MY MONEY!!!!! Thanks for nothing!!!!! BTW This is what I ended up eating for lunch, a bag of freaking popcorn
First time trying this place I got a burger, it was so delicious, I want to try more stuff on the menu. A great place to eat.

I drove 5 miles on my lunch break to get a Baker with chopped beef. The potatoes were not going to be ready for a long time they said so I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich. I sat down opened the sandwich took a bite and it was cold. The meat was come. The grilled bun was cold. The bbq sauce on the side was cold. So I brought it to the counter and let them know I said just warm it up. After 10 minutes I asked about my sandwich and she asked the guy. They argued and finally I just asked for a refund. The guy yelled over the counter across 10 other guests that he couldn't refund it because I bit into it. I said fine then make a new one. He said who is gonna pay for it? Mind you this is a $6.00 sandwich. He refused to warm it, remake it or refund it. I get their names. Mike, Trisha & Taylor. I filled out the Dickeys website feedback. Somebody please send someone with some customer service sense over there to train.
