My crawfish was old. Didn't taste right. Do better Danny's.
I purchased 2 pounds of boiled shrimp the Thursday prior to Easter. Upon arriving home, I began to peel the shrimp. Unfortunately to my shock and dismay, at least half of my purchase if not more than half was made up of shrimp heads, onions, celery, and lemons. The few shrimp that I purchased, minus all the additional seasoning, was a big rip off at approximately $10.50+ per pound. I have purchased boiled shrimp at many other seafood stores and NEVER had onions, celery, and lemons mixed in that I had to pay for… of which no one eats!Danny’s was recommended to me by two individuals and I’ve informed them of this terrible experience, not to mention rip off, as well as many others.
Danny seafood was closed when we got there even though we arrived during posted business hours. They directed us to visit another location if we wanted anything. We just took our business to another nearby restaurant and decided that this visit would probably be our last considering we can never catch them during "posted" business hours.
Definitely my favorite place hands down! I’ve been going here for the spicy turkey necks and potatoes since a little girl ❤️
The crawfish was still very flavorful as I remembered but they are not as spicy as Cajuns seafood
Good service good food place I will come back ???
Have always done better, what happens after the owner is off
The potato I had from here is hands down the best potato I've ever eaten. Sounds silly, but I'm serious about food. Highly recommend
This store was opened today, their food was also hot and fresh.
A downtown New Orleans staple for the some good spicy seafood! Locals❤️❤️❤️❤️
