the best of the best ... authentic Mexican food and the freshes food I ever tried

Incredible food and cocktails and friendly fast service….my fav meal in New Orleans

This place is over priced and clearly overhyped. I went to this place because another reviewer said they’re something like Tex-Mex but that was a lie I don’t even think it’s truly Mexican food at all. They charge six dollars per taco which is ridiculous and it’s super tiny it doesn’t come with rice or beans ($3each) and they don’t have refried beans or black beans. The taco did not taste good and they brought me a soggy taco that broke apart as soon as I picked it up. I originally asked for flautas and the waiter looked at me crazy like I was making up an imaginary word. Turns out they didn’t serve that either and what kind of Mexican restaurant doesn’t have fajitas. The tacos came with garnishments like pickled onions which is very common in Caribbean or South American dishes. I’ve never seen it in Mexican dishes. I also order a margarita (top shelf liquor) which actual tasted good but I felt like I was cheated out of my drink because the cup wasn’t full. It looked like I already drank out of it which I didn’t and when I asked the bartender if she could fill it up she said no. Never tf again! 0 out of 10 I don’t recommend

We needed a break from creole, so tried Cunada.. The Mexican food was delicious. We had queso as an appetizer which came in an iron pan with a crispy bottom and light crispy chips. We both had frozen fruit margaritas which were HUGE and only $12 each plus they came in styrofoam cups so we could leave with them. Our entrees were also quite tasty. A refreshing break and just off Bourbon Street.

Food was good. It wasn’t anything special but it was good and filled a hole. The cocktails where also nice, so no complaints from me.

Shout out to these bad mama jamás! I love bringing my friends here. Great food, good service, friendly faces.... I can't go more than a week without some esquites and guac.

Good food, chips, salsa and margaritas. The atmosphere was nice and a nice change from the norm in the area.

Casual dining in the midst of a lot of more upscale restaurants. We weren’t dressed up, so lucky we found this option and they have V GF. Great food and reasonably priced. They also offer takeout. The guacamole and chips are excellent!

Amazing food. Had lunch here last weekend. Would recommend to anyone and would eat here again next time we’re in New Orleans.

We were after a smaller, casual spot for a late dinner + this place did not disappoint. Their entire menu is gluten-free which was an amazing thing in and of itself. We asked the waiters” recommendation for the guacamole (GO the tropical route - SO good)We both enjoyed tacos + the vibe. It wasn’t busy when we were there .. and left us wondering if this is a hidden gem (in plain sight)
