My family and I stopped here and the food was amazing. The oysters were good as well as the service. Friendly staff and great food made this a great experience.
Well let's see here....1st we absolutely love Frank as our waiter. He's great. The staff has always been friendly. Food is wonderful!!! Husband says the oysters are the best.
Racist staff and managers! Party of two was told no waiting list for an hour. 14 mins later, party of 8 white males enter and they are automatically told sure, we can seat u and hostess, whisper to one of them, go out and walk bk in and say you have a 2pm reservation. Mangers, get her trump card called and ask party of two ( black ladies ) to leave! Horrible customer service. Racist and openly racist ‼️
This was the only restaurant in NOLA that I went to twice and was blown away both times. I tried to hit up Drago's twice but the second time I was very disappointed. This place is consistent and amazing with their Oysters Bienville. The people are super friendly and it's got some great ambiance! If you want to order take-out here though, make sure you come right as they open because if they get too busy they won't take your order. I had to learn that the hard way!
Delicious! An incredible joint to dine at if you want to experience classic New Orleans dishes among many other incredible eats. I got the "Taste of New Orleans", which is pictured in my review and was comprised of jambalaya, seafood gumbo, and red beans and rice. All of it was top notch, and this dish allowed me to try dishes that are staples of New Orleans cuisine! Many other items on the menu were appealing to me as well, I tried small bites of the Crabcake Pasta and the Firecracker Po Boy from my family's plates and highly recommend both of those dishes as well.
Definitely an awesome restaurant! We had such a great time. The food was aweome and their chaboiled oysters were super amazing ! The drinks were also the best we had in NOLA. We hot margaritas and " the painkiller". AMAZING DRINKS. The BEST part though was our server Frank. He was very polite, friendly and went above and beyond. We ordered pecan pie for dessert and wanted ice cream with the desset. They did not have the icecream at the restaurant so he made someone get it from the store. We were just amazed ! Thank you Frank for your hospitality! This a story we will be telling for years! Just an awesome expereince!
Food is AMAZING! We had a group of 5 and ordered apps and meals and shared it all. Rich, full of flavor and so satisfying. Colton was the bar back and sat us at his bar. He was exceptionally friendly, provided brief history lessons as warranted, and was really fun to chat with. Excellent service.
Staff were excellent, food was first rate. Ample choice on the menu and serving staff were helpful answering any menu queries. Advisable to book as it gets very busy.
We had a new server who was brilliant, if he wasn’t sure he would apologise and check for us. Food was good, everything pretty much fried though plates in my opinion was missing a side salad but generally food was good
Have been to new Orleans twice now and this is by far the worse service I have ever received, possibly worse anywhere in the world! After waiting 30 mins for the food, my daughters arrived and the server said mine would be "right out shortly". 15 mins later and after alerting the other servers it finally arrived, but I had been trying to cancel the order. My daughter had finished her food. Her food was sloppy and covered in Vinegar. We then had to wait another 10 mins whilst the server went off with my credit card! He had someone else's card even longer. During the wait for the card another diner went into the kitchen to tell staff he had been sat at the window for 15 minutes and no-one had taken his order. Another diner asked where his fruit was that he ordered? He was told "we are out of fruit" - no-one told him this after he ordered and he had waited 30 minutes for his food. No apologies form the staff - just didn't care. We have had some great breakfast in NOLA like Meena's and Cafe Maspero, but would give this place a 'swerve' based on our experience.
