Our group came here to watch March Madness just as they opened on a Saturday. The bartender was cool and invited us in as we walked up. He told us they didn't have food but gave us some great suggestions nearby and told us to come back and eat it there and watch the game, so we did. The drinks and vibe of the bar were great. Would definitely recommend.

Bartender was wasted, standing outside the door just swaying when we arrived. Had to be told what my 3 ingredient drink was multiple times. Even more, but just generally unpleasant. When we were there a few days before there was a different bartender (taller and heavier set) who was amazing. I was sad he wasn't there last night.
I walked in & it seemed that I was invisible. Sat down & didn’t get acknowledged whatsoever. Bartender was too busy talking shop & don’t know if there was a second bartender or a cook!! Will never ever go again…didn’t even get a chance to order a drink!!????
Had an awesome time here sharing our experiences with the bartender will definitely come back next time we're in New Orleans this is the epitome of a your local bar come and enjoy and support your local bartending community
Came here a few years back during the daytime. I had never eaten crawfish in my life. This fact came up during small talk with the bartender. She then proceeded to go to the fridge, withdraw and open a brown bag from which she removed some crawfish. She brought what was presumably part of her lunch over to me and demonstrated how to eat those bad boys as we ate them together.This bar, these people, this city. It is everything this country has going for it.Highly recommended.
Great dive bar...in Nawlins. 2 blocks from the convention center. Across from G hall, on S Peter's. Kitchen has been closing at 5pm last time I checked. For a bartender at pool. RETIRED Surfer Bar. He was wanting their beef sandwich..while I wanted a shrimp poboy. So when a bartender at a good restaurant wants a sandwich from a dive bar.There you have it!
