My experience with this restaurant was very disappointing, I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice with white meat chicken No! Eggs I asked them not to put eggs in my rice and I was told that the rice comes with eggs in it, I was told the rice is PreCookedA lot of people are allergic to eggs, good thing I'm not. I have gone to other restaurants and ordered Shrimp Fried with No Eggs! And I didn't have a problem with the order. I have gone to China Orchid for along time now and find that things change too often So this brings me to believe that the rice is not the only Pre-Cooked meals in the place.
I went in right before the lunch special ended. I ordered general tso's chicken. I requested it to be really spicy. I wanted white meat. Difference, white meat cost 50 cents more. No problem. I got the dish. Big scoop of rice. Ate a bit. Bland, but I put soy sauce on it. Went to eat a piece of meat. Started to slice it, and it was hard, tough. Ate a bit. Tough. Tried to slice more. Same problem. I called the waitress over and told her the meat was tough. She seemed like she didn't understand. I sent it back. I got new meat. Majority was not tough. A few pieces were. She did not bring me new silverware. I got it from another table. I won't be going there any more.
Great food, huge portions, low price, wonderful staff. My son said it was the best Chinese food he's ever had and ordered extra to take home. 10/10 would recommend and will return.
Ordered food from this restaurant didn’t know it would come with roaches. As I’m eating my food I noticed a roach cooked into the batter. I called the restaurant for a refund and they felt I needed to bring the food back in order to get a refund because they did not believe me. Hopefully these photos are proof enough.
The waitress was nice but our food was cold and I got digestion from my food thanks a lot!?
I haven't been here in well over 20 years, it was just as good as I remember!
Been eating here for years, dine in and takeout. The food is always hot and fresh and delicious. My elderly father often has no appetite, but will always eat China Orchid.
l’ve been a customer for years, but yesterday the lunch special l had the rice wasn’t cooked well, hard grains! l was very disappointed! Table wasn’t clean, very sticky.
Stopped in for lunch. We had not eaten Chinese in a long time and we were very pleased. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Their lunch offerings were varied. Will stop in again sometime.
The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The service was also nice. It's been years since I have been here, and from I can remember they have not missed a beat.
