It was a nice little dive bar a little off the beaten path and the drinks were reasonably priced. We didn’t stay too long, but I enjoyed stopping by to grab a beer.

Used to be best local dive bar but Mr. Ray passed & now it's a decent mix of local & tourist but still divey. Cash only. Fantastic jukebox. Best people watching.

After waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged, I finally get my $10 vodka drink which was mind blowing considering people go to the chart room because it’s cheap drinks. You don’t have to worry about me visiting your establishment; and your cash only rule is ridiculous considering all the mandates are lifted. Two people asked me to buy them a beer while I was waiting so long to get my drink. Learn to bartend, cause you’re both garbage

Awesome little dive bar in the quarter with stiff drinks, salty bartenders, and good prices. But please don’t make your non-regular patrons feel like second class citizens, at least not while they’re sitting there trying to give you money for drinks.

Chart Room New Orleans. No place like it. Every bartender is world class, the famous French Quarter barback ‘Porkchop’ is top of the pops, the $2 dollar High Life draft is the best deal in town, the jukebox spills its perfect tunes out all over the quarter’s most fortunate bar patrons day and night, Hotel Al is out in the streets yelling AMERICA at passersby, the sun is shining down on the sidewalk, the whole bar is taking tequila shots with each other, local artists are drawing portraits for tourists, and Dr. John is teaching everyone about Mardi Gras from the juke speakers. It’s a 10/10 scene every time. And if you’re lucky enough to catch one of those million dollar smiles from Julie behind the bar, well… you just saw the eighth wonder of the world.

Corner dive bar near our hotel was a great spot to stop and have a drink and be entertained by the locals frequenting it. Great bartender and reasonably priced drinks in a laid-back atmosphere we enjoyed. Try it!

As always, we hit the Chart Room Bar, The Carousel Bar, and Pat O’ Brien’s when visiting New Orleans. Best dive bar in the french quarter! The Juke box has a great selection of music.

Update 2/25/2022 – NOLA Mardi Gras 2022 – As always, we hit the Chart Room Bar, The Carousel Bar, and Pat O’ Brien’s when visiting New Orleans.Best dive bar in the french quarter! The Juke box has a great selection of music.A friendly COV warning. - 1/6/22 was the beginning of the 2022 NOLA Mardi Gras. The Joan of Arc parade is always a masterpiece. The 2022 procession was led by — what else? — Medieval Plague Doctors. The Joan of Arc parade was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 6, 7 p.m., French Quarter.A friendly warning: My wife and I are fully vaccinated and tested positive on 1/10/22. We had very mild symptoms. The symptoms were a common cold, such as cough, fever, and headache. There was no need for Hospitalization or Doctor Visit. Medicine: Over the counter Mucinex DM and Doctor’s prescription: Fluticasone Propionate Nasal spray. Stay Safe!

Great local drive with great drink prices and better service. Old school jukebox in the back full of hits.

Fun place with indoor and outdoor seating where you can chat with locals and passerbys alike. You actually get what you order here, and the drinks are quite inexpensive!
