Kent (owner) and his staff was warm and very friendly. He even gave us a tutorial on how to eat crawfish, even tho they were out of season. The beer was cold, and the food was hot & delicious. You can't go wrong here folks. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

You know what’s going on!!! Stop playing ? customer service was on a dub, food was on a 10, and the wait time was an Ace of Spade! The food was so good that I can’t tell you how much I paid for it. &&& you can’t beat the fact that a snowball stand is right next door.. I mean, come on, what more do you need?? Clean from the front to the back, hot food and laidback workers! Go pass on them..

This place mainly serves for takeout, there are only limited seating available, one indoor picnic table, two outdoor picnic tables. You need to take a number first to order when you enter the door. The seafood was fresh and delicious, we ordered 2 dozen of oysters for $26, their sizes were uneven, some of them were huge. We (4 of us) also ordered one soft shell crab one fried oyster plates, 3 pounds of crawfish, and a gumbo. All of them were good, crawfish was spiced nicely just to the point, and every one of them was delicious; soft shell crab had a fried aroma, it's crispy, but somehow lacks umami; seafood gumbo looked average, but it's tasted delicious, the soap ingredient includes sausage oyster shrimp, only thing was that I had to warm it by a microwave by myself since it was cold when i got it.Overall we spent about $100 for 4, ate more than normal, and took a plate food as leftovers not to waste food.

They definitely have guaranteed customers. Overpriced, long wait due line, no clear directions for ordering fried vs boiled food and fried seafood was taste only average. Potato salad, bolied crawfish and fried oysters were just right.

Might be the best carryout seafood in the city. I had a shrimp plate with double fries. Everything was fresh and hot. The portions are pretty big too. It shares a space with Walkers BBQ which is a plus and the location is safe. A little expensive but definitely worth the extra 2 or 3 bucks you could save by going to a place like Cajuns

Castnet NEVER disappoints! There is NEVER a time that I go home that I don't go to get my Castnet fix! Always half shrimp half oyster dressed! A must go to for fresh seafood as well.OMG seafood heaven!I've been going to Castnet for 31 years.

We discovered Casnets two years ago on our vacation just out exploring and we smelled the seafood from down the street so we had to stop where we saw the crowd. Now everytime we're in New Orleans we have to stop through. The staff is amazing and the food is even better. Crawfish seasoned sooo good and the fried food is always fresh. On our most recent trip for Mardi Gras, we tried the hot sausage po-boy and it was delicious. We always get the crawfish, crabs, sausage, turkey neck, and corn as well. They moved all seating to outside but luckily the weather was great.

Nice Overwhelming Legendary Amazing, NOLA authentic delicious Louisiana food in front of the Lake Pontchartrain! Thank you <3

Just paid them a visit after not going in the last 5 years. Got my oysters and shrimp platter-they fry oysters THE BEST IN THE CITY!!! Ain’t lost their touch

I am from N.O and had NEVER been here??? I have been living out of state for a number of years and had a large seafood platter that was....interesting. Great flavor, and perfectly fried but all I tasted was the grease??‍♀️? Not thier fault...I'm just no longer used to it. But please please visit this place...thier prepackaged foods look amazing also. My brother had hot roast beef and it was moist tasty and mouth-watering!
