Cane and Table is the quintessential New Orleans dining experience! We booked a table in the courtyard (it’s shaded and has fans so don’t worry about the heat) on our last night of our trip. Everything and everyone was amazing from the beginning to the end - I really didn’t want to ever leave. All of the waitstaff were friendly and our server, Lisa, was amazing - she was so fun to talk to and all of her recommendations were delicious. We did a shrimp appetizer dish, crispy, spicy Brussels sprouts, and Jamaican meat pies (very similar to empanadas and incredibly spiced). All of it was very tasty! I wish I had room to try everything on the menu. We did find room for the rum cake - words fail me - it was that good! The ambiance, the food, the drinks, the people - it all combined to make an experience that I will dream about for years to come!

Our bartender Erika was amazing !Not only was the food amazing, Everyone was super helpful and that added to us having memorable experience

I have been traveling to New Orleans for many many years and this place was amazing!!!! I truly loved every thing that I ate. My friend and I started with crab and watermelon gazpacho. Sounds like a odd combo but omg... chefs kiss. I had the crawfish and rice... it was like a crawfish etouffee but with a Caribbean flair. I am still thinking about this dish and how I could have it here. My friend had the lamb curry. I am not a big lamb fan but I tried it and it has great flavor. He ate every bite of his. If you are in the area just give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. Drinks are excellent as well!

Beautiful spot with an outdoor patio, and great cocktails. Try the Sardi’s Delight, which is an interesting swizzle on a gin daiquiri and not too sweet. To eat I had the crawfish rundown, which was a yummy crawfish curry. My mother liked the crawfish croquettes and tostones.

Cane and Table is one of those deceptively small restaurants you must visit while in New Orleans. Located a few blocks from the French market, Cane and Table embodies the foodie culture of the city.We visited on Easter Sunday and were immediately sat despite reservations being full. The service was a bit slower just due to how busy they were but we enjoyed everything else.Their menu is a bit on the small side but what they serve packs a punch. I had the wedge salad and burger while my friend had the plantains and burger. I don’t usually go for a salad but the wedge salad was delicious! Both of us agreed that the burger was the star of the show, but my friend did not like the fry straw topping while I couldn’t get enough of it. The Sardis delight drink was a delight! For two people we spent 70$+tip!They do have an included gratuity fee of 20% so make sure you check your bill.

The courtyard is a quaint verdant decadent decay. Not only is the food great, but it is a unique cuisine in the context of the Quarter. I appreciate the built in gratuity policy.

I had been hearing WONDERFUL things about Cane and Table for YEARS! When my daughter and her fiance picked a meet-up place following their wedding, they wanted to share their favorite bar. We showed up at 6:00 on a Sunday evening with the bride in her wedding dress and the groom in his suit and they couldn't have been LESS accommodating. This is a New Orleans BAR on Decatur and they wouldn't let us crowd around a table?? They pulled guests from our party up out of their seats and made them sit at the bar. They wouldn't split a check at ALL and generally made us feel unwelcome. They rushed us out by informing us we HAD to be out by a certain time and when we left the place was empty and there was NO ONE waiting to get in.

Great food and great customer service! The brisket and Brussels sprouts were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

On Wednesday, May 11th we made a reservation online for a party of 8 on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 11 am for brunch. Today, Thursday, May 12, 2022 we had a need to increase the reservation to ten people and on the Cane and Table website it clearly states... "We are currently booking dinner and brunch reservations up to 12 guests. If you’d like to book a table larger than 8 guests, please call us anytime during our normal business hours at (504) 581 - 1112." We felt like a party of ten shouldn't be a problem. Also, from looking at their Resy portal, we could see that there was still plenty of availability on Sunday morning during our selected time. When we called in, Hope answered the phone. My spouse thought it would be a simple conversation, following the guidance of their own website, and that increasing an 8 top by 2 people wouldn't be a problem, Hope proceeded to tell my spouse "We can only take reservations up to 8 people, it's a small space." Hope rushed my husband off the phone. I checked the website and called back immediately. I explained that their website clearly stated that they could take up to 12 people and that we only needed ten. Hope was immediately irate and told me, "Well if the website says that, the website is WRONG." I explained to her that it was a birthday celebration and we specifically picked their restaurant because the website clearly stated that they could accommodate large parties. There is a prominent section of their website that says "LARGE PARTIES". Hope went on to tell me that it was impossible and then I asked her if I could speak to the manager on duty. She proceeded to tell me that the manager was "busy". There was a pregnant pause. As a native New Orleanian and a service industry veteran, I was appalled at Hope's behavior and her apparent need to be combative and the way her tone kept escalating our conversation. The situation was ridiculous. I hung up. Hope is such a poor representation of Cane and Table. Even if it IS their policy and the website is incorrect, she could have let me talk to someone else about it or she could have had manners, at the very least. We cancelled our reservation immediately. I'm looking forward to my birthday brunch elsewhere. Cane and Table, Hope the gatekeeper is costing you revenue. I hope she's worth it.

Had a delicious meal here in a lovely setting outside. Service was great and drinks were delicious. The Brussel sprouts were insanely good - you have to try. The crawfish, chicken and ribs mains all excellent.
