We ate here some fresh and hot Beignets and there were delicious. You got 3 pieces for 3,40 USD. Furthermore this is a kind of Café, where they sold only filtered brewed coffee, Weichbleis nothing special. My only purpose to visit this Café was because of the Beignets but I would give 5 stars if they would also serve some Espresso or other Coffee specialities.

Definitely go in order to try out the fresh beignets, which are hot, fluffy and tasty, but if you are looking for somewhere with a little more 'atmosphere', I believe there is a flagship location. I was a little surprised when I realized the 'riverwalk' was basically a shopping mall. However, we were able to sit outside by the river to enjoy the view as we ate. The coffee was nothing special, but that's not why we were there. There will be a pretty long line, but it moved pretty fast.

This place should be a must on anyone's travel list. The beignet's are delicious, and the chicory coffee will wake you up dern near instantly just by smelling it lol As "touristy" as it is, it has some of the best beignets in the city.

I often went to the cafe when I was in college in New Orleans. It was open all day and almost all night. They brought fluffy coffee in white cups with saucers and beignets on white plates to our table. We never had to wait in line, even though the place was busy. But now? You have to wait, take paper cups of coffee and paper plates of beignets to a messy, sugary table surrounded by people all talking loudly. Not recommended.

Watch the beignets get tossed into the deep fryer and enjoy the powdered sugar covered French doughnuts. Some tips:Don’t inhale when eating a beignetDon’t wear dark colored clothing. The powdered sugar gets everywhereAsk for the sugar and doughnuts to be separate if you’re getting them to go

The beignets were hot, fresh and amazing! We got a cafe au lait and a pack of beignets. Shake the pack of beignets before eating to coat it well with powdered sugar. We didn't know this when we had our first ones. Thoroughly enjoyed these beignets by dipping it in the coffee sitting on the river side view. This one is much quieter and less rushed compared to the one on Decatur street. If you want to get some beignets for your loved ones, there is a Cafe Du Monde in the airport past the security check near concourse B. The price is the same in all of their branches.

We stopped in the afternoon. There was still a line but not too bad and definitely shorter than the one near Jackson Square. The beignets and coffee were good. We were able to find a table by the window and cool look out at the river.

Maybe it’s because I went to this location and not the original that I found them lacking. They were all a little doughy instead of light and slightly crispy around the edges like I remember. They were still tasty but the texture was wrong. The tables were all sticky and the trash cans were almost to overflowing, but they were extremely busy with a long waiting line.

There's not a lot of places in the area to get cheap breakfast, so I stopped here for a few beignets one Saturday morning. The line was at least 30 deep. I revisited just before noon and there was no line. Taste the same as the original location.

My friend hadn’t yet experienced New Orleans beignets. I had to take her to the location serving the best beignets in the city. Café Du Monde has a few locations in the city, and these are hands-down the tastiest desserts you can get. We went to the location inside the Riverwalk mall as it was easily accessible from our hotel. There was a decent line, however it moved fast. Their coffees, both hot and frozen, are must haves. With how expensive it is, if you are looking to take a piece of New Orleans back with you, they sell a mug with coffee for only $6!The beignets come in servings of three pieces, and it only cost $3.40 plus tax ($3.72 total). These delectable desserts are lightly fried dough topped with a copious amount of powdered sugar. They are extremely fresh and warm when served, and they are best enjoyed while still piping hot. They are served in a little paper bag, and the trick is to fold the bag, and vigorously shake it so that the powdered sugar is covering every inch of the beignet evenly. This location is the perfect spot to get a classic staple dessert in an indoor setting with a massive window looking out on the river.
