Great venue. Reasonable prices for drinks. Nice staff.

This place is a whole vibe. The band, bartenders, security...I had a great time

Great live bands and just the perfect “New Orleans Vibe” a tourist is looking for.

Fun place that upholds its New Orleans home. Decent cocktails. Not much sitting options so if you're not the dance the night away type show up early. Jazz band was awesome. Definitely a spot I would hit up again.

The music was lively when me and my friends stopped by for a short visit, and the show really involved the audience at a few points. The drinks weren't bad considering that it was basically the cover charge at the time. If I had been on a less tight schedule at the time I definitely wouldn't minded having stayed longer.

Really pretty jazz bar with a ton of space! The bartenders and bouncer were really nice too. We wished they had more seating — the area in front of the stage was fairly large but everybody crowded by the door, by other tables, and by the bar instead of filling up that area so it felt a little awkward. Overall, would stop by again if we ever come back into town!

I had a great experience this past weekend getting to see The Soul Rebels live at the blue Nile! The staff was friendly and the venue was clean and had a great atmosphere. Cover charge was reasonable and the bar staff mixed excellent beverages for our group. We will visit again next time we are in new Orleans!

Get to this venue late, skip the bar, and get right to the music. It gets crowded, but enough room to dance. Cocktails are expensive, but the beer is cold. Recently a group of us went to a weekend show here, and after a few rounds of drinks and shots, the bartenders refused to serve water to our party. Two bartenders and a bar-back, they wouldn't pour water regardless of how many times we asked. This is after a long day out in the LA sun no less -- Hopefully Blue Nile can either get a self-serve water station or some bartenders with human decency. Luckily it's a venue, and the music is some of the best on Frenchman.

Amazing music venue. Reminded me a bit of the Pour House in my home in Charleston, SC. Friendly staff. Amazing music. A must stop on Franklin St.

We loved the vibe and decor of The Blue Nile! The feel was so much better than the insane, frat party vibe on Bourbon Street. After a long day walking around exploring the French Quarter we stopped here for cocktails while listening to the Washboard Chaz Blues Trio. The band was rocking and had great energy and banter with the audience. The cocktails are expensive ($15-20), but the fleur de lis cocktail was absolutely divine! (Grey Goose vodka, essence of peach & rosemary, elderflower, and tonic!) This place was the perfect experience to wrap up our first day in New Orleans. We'll definitely be back again!
