What a wonderful experience! The shabby chic atmosphere is simply lovely. The local vibe was refreshing. The food was out of this world! We come to Nola every year, this will be one of our spots for sure! Thank you, Bittersweet Confections!❤️❤️❤️?☕️

This is a tale of 2 halves. Half #1 the food is fantastic. The market omlette had as much veggies as most farmers markets sell and the classic breakfast was huge. Half #2 the staff is friendly but it took half an hour to get delivery of the food after we ordered. The managers only response was that there is a sign posted that service may be slow. And the problem was not low staffing, they had lots of bodies.. So if you have half a day to eat then this is your place. The prices are very reasonable

Absolutely fabulous. We stumbled on this place walking back to our hotel during French Quarter Fest & decided to return in the morning before heading out into a day of walking & music. Our food took a bit (they warned us) as everything is fresh & made to order. My avocado toast arrived looking like a work of art — I mean, it’s New Orleans! Staff was super friendly and service was professional. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I decided to stop by on our trip to New Orleans. Amber was a wonderful employee! They were very patient with my little sisters as they figured out what they wanted and were helpful offering suggestions for them. The pastries were wonderful and rich, the interior was bright and cozy. There was a wide variety as well and they had options for those with dietary concerns. Highly recommended!

I recently used Bittersweet for my wedding. Cheryl was wonderful to work with and made my 3 cake vision come to life. The cakes were beautiful and tasted amazing. I had many guests asking where the cakes came from. Highly recommend!!!!

Sweet little bakery/coffee shop/restaurant a quick walk from our hotel. They have a great selection of hot and cold coffees and I was tempted to sit down by myself for an Irish coffee and make my family wait back at the hotel, but I was nice and got a latte to go instead, and a chocolate croissant and raspberry almond scone to share. The latte was made perfectly at just the right temperature, and was a nice balance between bitter and sweet like I prefer my coffee. The chocolate croissant was the same, not bitter at all, but I appreciated how it was just the right amount of sweet. It was flaky and soft, crisp on the outside. The scone was pretty good, especially since I'm not a scone person. This was my first coffee stop downtown and I'll make it a regular spot. I definitely want to sit in for breakfast soon! I didn't catch anyones name, but the sweet girl with blonde hair and glasses and tattoos was warm and friendly and chatted about local things to expect here. The guy with the flat cap made my latte and was very personable as well. Thanks again.

Bittersweet came through with my online order on time an great flavor. I wish we weren't so far apart. They would be my go to bakery. My boyfriend LOVED!!!! his cake.

I was staying close and needed to order 3 kingcakes and 9 doz. cookies on short notice during Mardi Gras. We stopped here for lunch and I thought I'd ask, but expected to be turned down. They said they could do it. Early on Lundi Gras morning I went to pick them up and they were ready. They were very well received at the ball!!

I love this place they are top of my list of places to visits in New Orleans. They were kind, professional and the cupcakes were delicious. In spite of being very busy they were able to get an order of cupcakes out to my daughter the next day and she love them. Thanks guys
