my new favorite spot. been to daisy three times now w various family and friends and each time has been a perfect experience. the menu is unique and absolutely delicious; the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. my favorite appetizer is hands down the warm spinach salad and i have loved both the filet and shrimp entrees.
Second time there. First about three years ago. Excellent then same this time. I had braised lamb over risotto with a mint/tomato chutney. Wife had paneed black drum with crabmeat topping and a beurre blanc sauce fingerling potatoes and green beans. All excellent. Lamb was a very healthy portion and scrumptious - great flavor, slow cooked and tender. Soup was a garlic and mushroom broth based soup thickened a little with cream - a little too garlicky for wife but perfect for me. Loved it. Service very good; atmosphere great, French bread taste like itâs from La Boulangerie up Magazine but who knows. Delicious. On recommendation for a light desert split a chocolate martini that sealed the deal. Atmosphere perfect for date night. Just enough noise to feel like you are out on the town but intimate table conversation effortless. Thatâs hard to get just right but they have it. One of my top 5 places in NO. Seems like few tourist - itâs way up Magazine away from French quarter. Worth the Uber.
