For a place with biscuit in the name these were pretty bad. First we sat down at our overly sticky, wobbly table. I ordered the hot sausage Benedict which is served over a biscuit. The biscuit was undercooked and incredibly dense and overall the plate was bland thank goodness they had hot sauce/s&p on the table.. Unfortunately I had to take the top off of the salt in order to literally scrape out the encrusted salt blocking the opening with my butter knife. My partner ordered the eggs and biscuit breakfast, she lovingly described her biscuit as a hockey puck and her bacon was good but overly salty. To top it all off, they sat a table of 3 very nice ladies next to us, who ordered coffee and water. When the waitress brought their coffee out, she put the drinks down and then the table rocked drastically (yes they also had a wobbly table) spilling one of the ladies coffee all over the table and her lap. The waitress apologized she then walked off. I watched the 3 ladies pretty much empty their table and clean it on their own while the waitress passed by multiple times. I know she was busy as it didn't seem like she had any other wait staff, but there were other employees that she could have gotten to help. After all this and the $50+ bill for lack luster food and service that I'd be afraid to spill anything around, we will not be returning.
Wish they had good vegan options. Only thing is salad minus cheese. Some tofu or breakfast tacos with beans would be nice. Luckily the place across the street has options if you’re vegan
This place is amazing. I enjoyed my food and service. Our waitress was Courtney and she had a superb vibe. She gave us suggestions from the menu and Omgoodness they were great choices. The waffles were outstanding and I don’t even like waffles. The cook takes pride in what she does. I would definitely recommend.
If I could give this restaurant less than one star, I would. The service is horrible. Their "creamy" grits are like water, they actually taste like instant grits. The "fresh" fruit and berries that they charge $4.50 for are actually the frozen berries you get from the freezer section of your grocery store. The server we had this morning was extremely rude. She never gave us her name. When asked what brand of bottled water they serve, her response was "I don't know. It's whatever Restaurant Depot is selling at the time." The "tea" was colored water. I asked to replace with Sprite, they were out of it. Someone else in my party asked to replace with apple juice and guess what, they were out of that as well. Beware if you go in a group! What was not told to our group was that they don't split checks and can only take up to three cards or a combination of cash and cards but no more than three. When I asked why we were not told that before, the "server's" response was "it's only posted on signs around the room. These "signs" were not bought to our attention until I asked that question and is small and only in one spot. I wasted money going to this place today. Our entire party of 12 was highly disappointed. Oh and they don't give you a printout of your bill. We had to do the math with the server's tablet in our hands and could not get a receipt. HORRIBLE ON ALL LEVELS!!! NEVER RETURNING!!!
Delicious menu options. I wish I had tried the waffles as they smelled amazing. I had an omelette and potatoes and it all tasted good. The biscuit was yummy. Service was slow but the staff very nice.
Perfect place for brunch! The server was so friendly and checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The chicken and waffles were tasty!
The food was ok. The cleanliness and hygiene of staff was poor. My waitress had bad body order. The cook was in dirty/stained clothes and she looked unclean
AMAZING!! This is our first time in NOLA and we love to find small, out of the way local joints. This was amazing!! Great good, great atmosphere, awesome staff. Loved every minute of it. We're hoping to go back before we head home. I wish I could give it 10 stars!!
Kind people and good food! This was my first time there, and I'll definitely be coming back. The people were SO thoughtful and kind, and that means a lot to me. My food was delicious, plus the rest of the menu sounds incredible.
Took the family here a couple of weeks ago during our visit to Nola - thought the food was excellent, friendly service, good coffee, a general nice low-key vibe. Ordered hot sausage hash and chicken&waffle - both delicious!
