So, the owner of the Big Easy Fresh Market doesn't like when homeless people or people of the lower class come to his store. The owner & cashiers will refuse service of the people and have them escorted out. Just because they are homeless & of the lower class don't mean they may not have money. At the end of the day those are people regardless of their current situation. Not the racist type so I won't ever just make this about race. Also when you walk in the store is smells really bad. I think it's an old smell of meat or something I didn't smell anything fresh. And let's add how he treats his staff but that another subject. That's why the store gets 1 star.
My family and I love the food but I just had an unpleasant experience with one of the customer service (her name is Karla Cortez … name shown on receipt). She barely smile and always have stone faced, and bad attitude. Suggested to improve her attitude as a paying customer and misunderstood the whole point. I reported to her manager (very polite young lady) but even in front of her she reacted poorly to the whole situation. I had to speak up this time since this is not the first time I have issues with this cashier.
