So, so good. Every dish was excellent. Drinks were flavorful and went so well with the tapas. The cauliflower might change your life. Same with the ceviche. Enjoyed this meal completely and can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food! Every dish had a perfect balance of flavors. Staff was wonderful. I had the Caribbean fish and requested some extra spice and the chef himself made sure it was customized to perfection. Would highly recommend!! Don’t miss out on the amazing Tres Leches cake with its surprising zing of lime and sour cream, pure bliss!
Truly delicious and delightful! Every single bite and sip was incredible. The atmosphere is colorful and cheerful. The people are so perfectly lovely. You would do yourself a disservice if you chose not to visit this establishment. We didn’t even get a picture of the food because we were so eager to enjoy it!
Excellent meal, attentive staff and very good cocktails too. Came here for a late meal as it was near our hotel and recommended by Eater, would definitely recommend
Great happy hour. Just don't come here late when they are ready to close because they might run out of food. The chicken tacos and chips and guacamole were delicious. Margarita hit the spot too.
We dined at Besame before attending a show at Saenger Theatre based on rave reviews from friends and the proximity to the show. We were absolutely blown away. The menu is limited but offers options to a wide range of dietary restrictions including vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten free. We ordered the guacamole with chicharrones (light, tasty, but ultimately skippable), the tempura cauliflower with cashew habanero crema and chickpeas (a revelation of a dish), braised pork arepas (luscious meat paired fantastically with slaw), churrasco with chimichurri served with papas bravas (one of the best steaks of my life). The tres leches was solid but unmemorable as were the margaritas, but the mixed drinks were heavily poured and delicious. The environment is crisp, clean, and welcoming. Staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!
Great spot for an evening cocktail, right before a stop at any of the Canal St. theater shows or just a quick night out. Try the Bolivan Sour; it is very light, sweet, with sour, but with a deliciously smooth finish. All of the ceviches are delicious as well. It's hard to say which flavor stands out more, so try them all, but none will disappoint your tastebuds. One of the entrees that I looked forward to was the Seafood Paella. It embodies latin cuisine with fresh New Orleans seafood. My tastebuds skipped along in delight of every bite I took. The staff was awesome.
This was my last meal in New Orleans due to the convenience of it was being next to where I was staying. I enjoyed the Al Pastor sandwich with Pork, pineapple glaze, avocado, and cheese. I washed it down with a pisco sour. I had great experience.
Besame has amazing food atmosphere and service! It is definitely worth it going outside of French Quarter to try this extraordinary combination of flavors. A must is the crawfish queso and of course any kind of ceviche! Cameron took extremely good care of us and the overall experience was superb!
We went here for tapas and cocktails because it was the only tapas place around us and were we happy that Google lead us there! This place was absolutely amazing. Great & kind service and delicious food! Highly worth trying!
