The best restaurant in New Orleans! Both the Shrimp & Grits and Mushrooms & Grits were delicious!I also tried the Butterfly Matcha Latte. It was really beautiful and slightly sweet. Worth trying once but not something I'd get again.

Truly one of the best places in NO for breakfast. Service and excellent! Try the seafood omlet with their generous portions of seafood. Or the unique fried lobster tail eggs ben. To walk it all off, walk some of the streets in the area. Tried a variety of places, but this outshines them all!

When we arrived there was a wait. The hostess offered to call the other location to see if we could get in without a wait. That was very nice. We walked around the neighborhood while we waited and the area is very cute. They have LOTS of vegan options and pretty much something for everyone. I had the mushrooms and shrimp. It could've used a little more seasoning but was good. The biscuits and mushroom gravy was really good. Shrimp and grits was delicious. The kids really enjoyed the pancakes. My son also really liked the BLT with avocado. Service was OK and it was FREEZING in the restaurant. Overall a good choice and we would go back, with a sweater.

Wanted to treat my daughter to a fabulous food experience as a college student in New Orleans. Bearcat didn’t disappoint. The menus are a bit overwhelming for foodies, but after several “give us another minute”, we opted with what is featured. The chia pancake is the best pancake I’ve ever tasted. And my own blueberry lemon curd are fabulous. My daughter was happy to find a top-notch go-to with her egg, chicken and biscuit entree. The shrimp and grits with sopping bread were fabulous. The only downsides to the experience were that it was quite chilly where we were seated with no options of moving and the Oaxacan Rum Punch was not available. Let’s do this again, Bearcat Cafe. I’ll be back!

Really enjoyed our breakfast here. The pancakes are standout (normal, not GF which could have been better), as is the juice and the lemonade. Coffee fab, service good, would recommend.

I took my family came to visit me and I took them to Bearcat Uptown. We had to wait about 30 minutes but one we sat down, it was worth the wait. This is one of the BEST meals I've ever had in New Orleans and that says a lot. It's virtually impossible to have a bad meal in this town. I order the Shrimp & Grits with Blue Crab Claws, OMG the Smother Grits were heavenly, creamy and full of flavor. Others order the Bearcat Breakfast, they raved about the pancakes, I tried some of the potatoes that come with that meal, cooked in cuck fat (I believe) AMAZING. This place is highly recommended

THIS PLACE IS SO AWESOME. Their service, food, and drinks were amazing. Me and my friends have fell in love with this spot. I got the Cat Hot Daddy Biscuit with a side of bacon, and it was phenomenal. Also, our waitress, Liz, was so nice and welcoming. I will definitely visit Bearcat Cafe again!

Holy Cheese and Crackers Batman.... BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD IN YEARS! Our server was right on with suggestions, the food was hearty and warm and yummy in every way. The fruit plate was so crazy fresh and the pepper sauce that our waiter brought to go with the potatoes was a Hell Yeah! Totally worth the wait.

First things first. My goal in Lousiana was to find the best strawberry lemonade I could, in the short time I visited. Second to last day, I found it. OH. My gosh. It comes in such a cute glass bottle!!! And the sticker too!! That's not even the best part though. My first taste? I could not stop smiling. Not only because it was perfectly tangy and not too sweet, but it was just so good. Their strawberry lemonade is the embodiment of summer and sunshine. I bought another one to go.The food was also amazing. The artichoke dip is something I think about three or more times a month, and I visited almost a year ago. I had the tofu scramble—the texture of everything was really nice, but I would've preferred maybe some spiciness? But back to the dip.... Wow. So good. It's such a rich dip and it's cut perfectly by the thin crisp tortilla chips that are HOT. I don't know, I don't think I'll ever have a brunch experience like this ever again.I think my boyfriend almost cried when he tried the lobster biscuit brunch thing.Vibes? 10/10Drinks? 15/10Foos? 10/10Bearcat, I miss you and love you.

Great place for relaxed eating, American brew coffee was great so were the spicy chicken sandwiches.Gets very busy during lunch times but its worth the wait
