Polynesian Hawaiian Tiki Bar

Great atmosphere and drinks. Fun Polynesian/Pacific menu. Everything was oversalted. Reasonable prices.

So this place generally ranks as one of the best tiki bars in the world. It’s very good, but it is hampered by it location. Great for ease of access, but character-less. The decoration is very well thought out, to a fault. It misses some of the classic tiki organic disorganization. Go at night! It’s substantially better at night. Berry was there one of the several times we went and was affable to the tiki-ista that wanted signatures.

Unfortunately, the ac broke when we visited but they put up fans and tried to cool it off. Our bartenders were SO kind and friendly. The drinks were awesome and the food was delicious! So glad we visited!!!

Fun spot! Hawaiian themed menu. Pork katsu was thin but nicely fried. Mac salad not traditional Hawaiian style. Lumpia was okay. Great cocktails and cool staff.

Food was excellent, great menu, (large plates are large !) unfortunately we had to sit at the bar which is not something we would normally do but it seems popular in the USA. Not a big place so it is best to book. If you are into cocktails you can knock yourself out there biggest choice ever.

Pretty average. Cocktails arrived very quickly, almost too quickly to have been prepared as they should have been. We were staying in the attached Bienville House hotel, but the drinks couldn’t be charged to our room. Not sure we got value for money here, and it wasn’t cheap.

This tiki bar is outstanding! It's always so hard to choose between the creative cocktails they have on offer. But any choice is a good one. Plus the cute little accents just make my day. Definitely stop in for a drink, though you may need a reservation if it's high tourist season.

Nice place. Be advised there is no sign that says Beachbum Berry's, it's solely called Latitude 29.Ribs were fantastic. I want the recipe for the carrot salad. The Zombie cocktail was strong and fruity. The dim lighting makes for a sexy atmosphere (good date spot).Reservation encouraged - nearly didn't get in.

We didn't make it here until it was towards the end of our trip. Having eaten at the other popular places around the french quarter, I can say that this was by far THE BEST! Wish we could've eaten there again, there were so many things I wanted to try. Every other restaurant had small portions and light drinks. Total opposite here so you don't feel swindled after your meal! There asian inspired take on chicken and waffles was amazing!

Absolutely amazing drinks, knowledgeable staff, and vibe. I can’t say enough good things! I wanted something refreshing and light and the bartender was able to give me suggestions right off the bat. My boyfriend loves cocktails so we came here because we own all of the cocktail books and this was the best experience for him as well.
