We found Barrilleaux by chance and were very pleased. All the food was excellent-- fried green tomatoes with maque choux and crawfish was one of the best restaurant dishes I have had anywhere. Very pleasant environment. Would go back in a heartbeat.
the food was very good but the eggplant molly could have had a red sauce and the pasta served with it was very plain. The drinks were good but pricey. The shrimp and grits and the broussel sprouts were excellent. So were their home made croutons.
After a going to Dirty Linen night we were pleasantly surprised how good this little Italian restaurant was in the Marigny. Glad I made a reservation because the place was full. Service was great and food nicely prepared. Live music in the background. Nice place.

They ran out of the one dish that we wanted to come there for. Everything else was mediocre sub par. The place was extremely noisy and the staff was resetting tables slamming them into the floor all around us. Horrible experience. Our waiter, however, was very nice.
Sunday drag brunch was perfection.

We attended the Drag Brunch and loved the entire experience! The space is gorgeous and intimate. The food was great with a lot of options on the brunch menu. Very reasonably priced bottomless mimosas. The show was so much fun and the Queens were fabulous! Highly recommend!

This was our second time. The first time was fabulous, but this time not so great. They seriously need to turn down the lights in the restaurant. It was so bright it made it feel weird. There was only 1 waiter and a bartender and they were trying their hardest, but it wasn't enough. We waited forever to be greeted and to even order drinks. All of our food, appetizers and all, came out at the same time. It felt like we were there on opening day of someone's first restaurant. It is sad that the good food might not make it out there due to the service and feel.
