It was a very quiet place and the workers were very friendly. It’s a perfect place to go and study or to just take a break from the busy city. Great coffee and tea selection. I got an iced espresso with oat milk and sugar, very strong but delicious.

Phenomenal local coffee house at the edge of historic Storyville which is undergoing an amazing effort to preserve this history, through archeology and preservation. The coffee is fresh, roasted and outstanding. We tried the BBQ crawfish and grits, fantastic! Wonderful stuff! Gorgeous space!

Great coffee shop with some nice sandwiches and pastries in town. Very nice and clean coffee shop, very good looking. Start your morning with a smile after tasting their signature coffee.

This coffee parlor has been on our todo list for some time. The owner really makes your experience here. He was pleasant, informative and patient when dealing with a less than motivated employee. Our coffee, limoncello cake and sweet potato pie were delicious. Our only regret is that we all agreed to share. After the first bite we all wanted our own individual desserts. Plus the art work is amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in and visit this little gem.

One of the best cafes I've seen! Their unique food options are locally inspired, handmade and delicious. Drinks are genuine coffee house style and the staff are all really nice with a good sense of humor. The only downside is I'm not a local so i can't visit again!

Hey the sweet potato pie!

We stayed at the neighboring Brakeman Hotel, just down the street. Backatown is relaxing, with delicious food, good service, good coffee and a very relaxing vibe. It's away from the madness of the French Quarter, literally in the 'backatown' on a very quiet street, so it was a good place to slowly get ready for another day of touring around. Spacious, pretty, clean, good bathrooms. We had both breakfast food and lunch food there, happy with everything. SO glad I found this place.

I have been here a few times and I must say each visit never disappoints. The quality of the food and drinks exceeds my expectations, but it’s the energy in here that keeps me coming back. The team that works here are incredible. I am always greeted with a smile and feel right at home. The music is always A1 and the natural lighting seeping through the windows is the perfect touch. If you’re looking for a nice spot to relax and grab a small bite or coffee, then look no further. Thank y’all!

Obsessed with this coffee shop! Visited every day during my recent trip for their Vietnamese iced coffee. Food and pastries are also great - the crawfish quiche was amazing, it seems to be a popular item so snatch one while you can. Also tried the red velvet cookie and the lemon poppy seed cake, all amazing!

We went on a cemetery tour and William was by far the coolest best tour guide we have ever encountered! Will do it again in a heartbeat
