We just arrived and had heard about the location as a good place to go that was “off the beaten path”. You won’t stumble across this place….but it is worth searching out! They have a wine shop with a nice selection and very helpful staff! They will also put together custom charcuterie boards for you. They also have a full bar upstairs and a kitchen where you can order small plates from…..and to top it off, they had a band there playing jazz…..what a cool night!
The coolest wine bar ever! It's not your typically stuffy wine bar but they really deliver on the wines themselves. This is an old house with a back yard live music setup. Get there early if you want a good spot and expect a line but totally worth it!
Absolutely amazing!! This is marginally off of the beaten paths in New Orleans and a must-do when visiting. The live band(s) are fantastic. The ambiance is relaxing and the drinks and plates are delicious. You MUST fit this into your list of to-do's!
What an experience!!! There was a slight wait to get in but we were seated quickly once at the front. The service style was slightly different as we had to service ourselves a bit. We chose to grab a bottle of wine and BYOCP (build your own cheese plate). We chose 4 types of cheeses and made out purchases. They took the cheese and plates it with bread and veggies which was delivered to our table. I loved this experience and would definitely return. Highly recommend!
They have plenty of wine, cheese and sausage choices there. The charcuterie board was good. We enjoyed the atmosphere the live jazz band brought. I would definitely come back for this!!! ?GOOD WINE, GOOD LIFE
A great quirky fun experience. A recommendation from our host. Live music day and evening. A wonderful outdoor setting with lots of twinkly lights. A great concept. Choose your wine, choose your cheese and meats. You pay a plate charge and a wonderful cheese and meat board is bought out to you with accompaniments such as olives, chutneys and so on. All the wine is chilled and you self serve and grab your own ice, bucket, water etc. also offers a small menu selection too… We went twice… Top Tip - grab an Uber and don’t be put off by the district as it looks a little run down…
A MUST VISIT SPOT! They have live music intermittently throughout the day. There is a bar upstairs with liquor and a wine shop downstairs.It’s a first come first serve seating vibe but there was plenty of space for our group of 8.The wine shop has an excellent selection and the people working there were helpful when we needed assistance finding a bottle (or 7) that we’d like.
Would not let us In wanted proof of Covid shot. Not mandated but self business rule. It’s a shame., Chris The manager was rude! Good luck Natalie! It’s shame you are ruining a business over personal preference!
