Great place, good selection of wines, great service, presentation of the food is amazing. Soo many flavours in the food. Should have more selections on pasta as the menu is small and sweet .
Avo has authentic Italian cuisine. I’ve been to Italy many times, and Avo gets it right! The flavors are spot on. It has become one of our favorites.
Everything about this place was amazing. From the atmosphere to the food and drinks. We were well taken care of by the staff.
Food was great. Very sad!!! Hadn’t been there since Covid and was excited to go again. Service sucked. Had to flag down server for everything. Was ignored when I tried to get other staff’s attention because our server was not paying attention. Even the bartender acted as if he didn’t see us after making eye contact.
I wanted to love this so much, unfortunately it was just okay. The pasta was cooked perfect but the sauces were just okay. My unleaded drink was FANTASTIC. I might skip this for other options in NOLA.

This place was really amazing!! Everything we had was absolutely delicious, and our server was very nice. We started with the charred octopus and the special of the day, which was bruschetta w/ goat cheese; while both were amazing, the octopus was truly extraordinary! For our main dishes, we had the redfish Picatta and the lobster rigatoni, and both were cooked perfectly. The pasta was al dente and the fish was so fresh and succulent. The corners were crispy too, which I love

One of the BEST meals I've had in a long time! We started off with a delicious cocktail and the waiter brought us some complimentary bread with a kind of spicy olive oil. Everyone told us to order the octopus, so we tried and it and it did not disappoint! It was very tender and flavorful. My husband got the short rib and loved it. I had the lasagna- so so good! A table next to us had some kind of special dessert and I asked our waiter if we could get one as well. It wasn't on the menu but was basically the ice cream sundae with little donuts on top. The only negative is the parking, but we didn't have any trouble finding a spot near by. Well worth it!
