We travel often and always attempt to find the best Indian Food and we found it! This place has the best ever Butter chicken and their garlic naan bread was so amazing!Service was the best we have ever experienced. You can not pass this place up!
Unassuming outside but don’t miss it! once you walk in you are transported the decor (interior design) was gorgeous and amazing! and just wait till you taste the food! The service was very friendly went above and beyond!!!! you just have to come try it for yourself!Garlic naan was amazing!!! And chicken tikka masala was so tasty!! And the rice just!! Yes eat here!!!
A pleasant experience for an out-of-town person. Walking to this location from downtown/French quarter isn’t recommended.Food is authentic Indian with plentiful spices. Ask for a milder version if needed. You’ll walkout satisfied. Ask for any questions, I checked if the meat is halal, the host takes time to respond.I recommend trying carry out rather dine-in. Enjoy!!
Food and atmosphere were great! We got two dishes that we hadn’t tried before. The flavors were fantastic, although I did find the them to be a little salty (but still great!). Within the last few months they’ve switched from a takeout only to dine-in. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which with the decor and lighting makes for a cozy date night feel. The server was very friendly as well.
The newly opened dining room is very nice and the food is great!
Wellvthe place is beautiful inside very clean. I especially like the tables made of butcher block wood with a hard lacquer with a super slick sheen. The decorations and photographic artwork work very well. And yes, the plants in the pictures are all REAL.I ordered "bring me food please and don't ask me any questions" the nice lady had a couple, however i insisted just bring me food.I was served a plate with a napkin, spoon, and fork. The owner, who I met, said he makes the best Indian bread. After my 30-minute walk from the Sonesta on St Joseph's, I am hungry? The food came and it was the best indian food i have ever eaten!! 5 pots of deliciousness and the Naan bread was hot and yummy!!
We ordered the Korma and the tikka masala. Both dishes were phenomenal and the garlic naan was amazing! Highly recommend this place, one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to!
Super tasty food, with great authentic Indian flavors. We ordered veg korma, chicken tikka masala, gobi manchurian, noodles, tandoori chicken and the absolute fantabulous chai! The most amazing part of my experience is the service though. Being visitors to New Orleans (from California), I feel like home every time I visit this restaurant. Highly recommend this place!
Every meal I've gotten from Aroma has been savory and delicious. Best Indian food I've had in NOLA. And man did they name that place right! The moment I walked in to pick up my order I was hit with the most amazing smells coming form all the bubbling pots in the kitchen!
This is the most fabulous Indian Food I have ever had in my life! The restaurant is newly renovated with great taste and design. It has a vibrant feeling when you enter. The food completely tops any other Indian food in the city. The seasoning is perfect! The owner is friendly and the staff is helpful with ordering!
