Another Broken Egg Café is a solid brunch choice. All of the classic options are available and there are unique versions of many of them (i.e., Shrimp Benny, Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes, etc). There are also a lot of tasty brunch cocktails available, again in classic versions and the café's own spin on them. Service was good, and food was fresh and tasty. There is a small parking lot and we got the last spot (next to the dumpster); unfortunately, someone had opened the doors to the dumpster area while we were in the restaurant, didn't shut them properly, and a door with a nail sticking out hit my car and dinged the paint. So, don't park in the spot next to the dumpster if you can help it.
Stephanie was wonderful, amazing service. Food was beyond delicious. Eggs benedict, lemon custard French toast, burboun waffle. All amazing. Went 2 days in a row!!
Our experience was awesome! Summer was an excellent manager and host. We thank you, the staff at Another Broken Egg for making my husband’s birthday amazing. We love it here and will return for sure! Despite the fact that there was a wait, I believe that staff was fair and we will definitely return!Aljonai was an excellent waitress/key holder.?????
Another Broken Egg Cafe on Harrison Ave is an old New Orleans house converted into a restaurant, so the atmosphere is really unique. My boyfriend and I went there on Sunday, March 27, and after we were seated it began to get really crowded so by the time we left people were waiting to get in. The service was great and we were very impressed with the menu.
The Crab Cake Benny and the Shrimp Benny were very delicious!!
We've been wanting to try this place for years and decided to go today to kick off my birthday weekend. The eggs Benedict and grits were pretty good. The pancakes unfortunately were raw and runny on the inside so we asked for another order. But the second order was also undercooked and inedible. Our waitress was nice and the place was cute, but we were hoping for better food.
Always enjoy! Great food and drinks
Your staff ad are so polite and made sure we were okay..always satisfied on every visit
This is always, for five years running (missing one due to Covid) been my first place to go for breakfast in the Big Easy. I always eat here the first day, and this year was no exception. The mimosas are delicious and pack an excellent little breakfast buzz. The gluten-free pancakes are literally to-die-for and the city grits make me tear up a bit...happy tears of course.I ate here two different mornings. I plan all my restaurants ahead, due to being gluten-free and the one morning, the line at another restaurant was too insane, so I went back here to my go-to.The first visit was so perfect. Alexus was my server and she was so friendly and brought me everything I needed. This was one of my first breakfasts out after Covid, but the restaurant wasn't too busy, and the great food took my mind off any Covid worries. They do check your vaccination record. I ordered the lobster and brie omelette and it was perfectly delicious. Great visit the Wednesday before Mardi Gras. The only thing I was I was missing were those little individual jars of maple syrup.I did return on Saturday and was seated relatively quickly, even though there was a waitlist. Lindsey was my waitress and she was excellent also. The family beside me had a child who spilt juice all over the floor and even though she was very busy she helped clean it up and provided us all with excellent service. The reason I'm docking one star is that one thing happened to me on this visit that happened the last time I ate there in 2020 on my way out of NOLA. This time I deviated from my norm and ordered the Mardi Gras omelette. This is the menu description:Filled with Louisiana crawfish, gulf shrimp, andouille and red peppers, topped with tomato hollandaise, tomatoes and green onions.I was disappointed because there was barely ANY of that in that omelette. I literally found ONE red pepper. It was delicious and would've made the omelette if only there had been more of them. While my omelette on Wed was packed this one was seriously lacking. And this happened the last visit here when I ordered a lobster and brie omelette with LITERALLY one piece of brie inside. I took a picture and it's in my last review. I don't like to complain, but when I eat here the bill is between 30-40 for just me. I don't mind paying that...but I expect to have a GOOD breakfast. All was good except that nearly empty Mardi Gras omelette, which deducts one star. Otherwise, I really do love this place. The staff is great and most of the food is so perfect.
The food is good have been here a few times, but when doing carry out what I have noticed the portions of food are very small especially with the classic dish shrimp and grits... they can be pretty stingy with it smh
