The rooftop bar is my only experience. Would give 5 stars if cover wasn't $50 to buy a $38 double Hendricks gin. Would give 7 stars if it was $100 to get in and you get a card with $80 to spend on food and drink (or $50 cover for non spenders).
Such a cute vibe! My friend and I stumbled upon this rooftop pool and bar after deciding Bourbon st was an immediate no. They had a dj playing good music (good balance of hip hop/pop/etc). And it wasn’t too crowded, very laidback chill vibe. The bartenders were friendly, and they use fresh ingredients for the margarita ?There was a $20 cover when we went but worth it for the vibe. We’ll definitely look into staying at the hotel itself for our next visit!

It's an absolutely gorgeous garden space, and there's a space where you can sit in the pool and have a drink in hand. The cocktails at the pool were all amazing and the staff recommendations were fantastic.
The Alto rooftop...let's dive into it. Bartenders were awesome and those $8 Mai Tai were spot on with flavor and strong. Rooftop scene is legit, soft music and heated pool. I do wish the food menu was more expansive like the other restaurants on the lower level. Overall, dope spot. Maybe even a nice spot for a pre-date meetup.
Pizza undercooked, staff were more interested in looking at tik tok and instabook than doing their jobs. Won't go to the alto again.
OMG LOVE this place! Everything from the entrance to the lobby bar to the rooftop patio is so cute! The views are more of the ‘inner city’- meaning between the high rises, and you can only see it at certain parts of the patio that you sit. But the views outside the rooftop isn’t going to be your main focus because between the pool, the garden and the lounge chairs the whole deck is a roof garden of paradise. They do have space heaters near the bar, but if it’s still too cold, the downstairs bar is also a great indoor garden! We just saw it through passing but I wouldn’t mind having a drink there.
Absolutely Breath Taking Rooftop With A View ???! It feels like an island paradise with trees, fire pits, and a nice heated pool with lovely bartenders. Excellent place for a date and a must see tourist attraction!
We went to the Alto Rooftop Bar at the Ace hotel several times. The rooftop view was excellent and the seating area nicely decorated. There was no grill--only a very busy bartender who did make good drinks. Our only disappointment is that we wanted to go there late evening January 1st--after the Sugar Bowl--to enjoy champagne --and found the doors locked.
Very cool rooftop! Nice decor and atmosphere for relaxing. Staff is super accommodating.
