Was glad to find out that this is a number one Expos bar… it’s been very tough to find one in New Orleans. Come one come all !! Ohhh Canada ! #expos
This was the first place I felt home since I moved to NOLA and the owner, Debbie, who is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met, was the first person to treat me like family. This is a super local gem. The staff is really friendly, the drinks are cheap, the AC works great, and if you love baseball, you will absolutely love this place.
We usually go to Bywater if we want a local bar but tonight we decided to try something close by. 44 Tchoup had great reviews so we decided to try it and it did Not disappoint. Debbie was our bartender. She was attentive, funny and sweet. We had a great time and everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere was perfect! We will be back and look forward to making many new memories at this great Uptown dive bar.
I love this little bar. I will often go have a cocktail or two before I go shopping at Rouses.
Wicked awesome bar ;) debbie rocks
Super friendly staff and got to see the Mardi Gras Indians
One of the best places EVER ?
Just moved here in January. This is the first place that made me feel home. So much ❤️ for the staff and everyone in here!
First time in New Orleans, our bachelor party group popped in here to dodge the rain. We couldn’t have stumbled upon a better bar to spend a few hours at. Ray, the bartender, we agreed was top 3 bartenders any of us have ever been served by. The beer was cold and the espresso vodka shots were a treat. If/when I come back to New Orleans someday, 45 Tchoup will be my first stop.
Despite what tripadvisor thinks, it's a bar, not a restaurant. Seemed to be a locals place. Happened to be there Super Bowl night, they put out some food. Friendly staff, good service. Good music when the game wasn't on. A bit dark inside. Don't wear your shades.
